    How to Not Hustle?

    So the club Im going back to is not a very big hustle club. You arent required to sell drinks, you dont have to sit with the guys and chat it up, ect ect. Since Ive worked at clubs where you do have to hustle, how do you not hustle? I dont want to go up and do the "wanna dance" thing, I just need a few cute lines or something to use. Its packed every night of the week though, so Ill be working probably Wednesday night, then Friday and Saturday nights. If anyone has anything, let me know

    to me it sounds like you still will have to hustle, just not too much if its always very busy. I approach guys with hey how are you, blah blah blah ready for a dance? if they say no then i'm like ok well i'm crystal, nice to meet you, see you later/let me know if youre ready. something like that, but im not going to waste 5 minutes talking to someone when i could be giving a dance or going into the vip. Just go with it. Test it out your first few nights and watch the other girls, see what makes you feel comfortable. I'm a natural born hustler so I never relax at work and always try to stay busy.
    Since you DONT have to sit and chat with the guys, you should make your approach a lot shorter so that you can get them away for private dances and make more money. Try to connect with them on the stage, make a lot of eye contact and smile a lot, and then chances are you will have dances waiting for you when you get off.

    Speaking as a male custy, I'd say the success of the hustle comes from sizing me up. I personally do not like dancers to do an impression of a heat seeking missile, assess me from 30 yards, lock on, and come over trotting out a standard line.

    We've all got fragile egos and we like to think you might like us a little. (OK - unrealisitic, but we do like our illusions.)

    The point Candygirl made about eye contact is a good one - it's a flirtation signal and does pander to our illusions. Other bits of body language also help - like the hand briefly laid on my forearm. A couple of minutes social chat doesn't hurt eirther. Do a little bit of groundwork before attempting to close the deal.

    Yeah, you're there to work and earn money, but too obvious a hustle may be self defeating.

    * eye contact
    * smile
    * have fun
    * compliment them (about anything!)

    Just small talk with them and then close the sale.

    * where you from?
    * what brings you into the club tonight ?
    etc etc

    I usually will sit down for 3-5 minutes if I can. Smile, sexy eye contact,name exchange,rub my leg a little bit, or put my shoulder on their head and say wanna have some fun in the back? I always know i will be asked... what kind of fun? My response.... the best lapdance of your life". That usually closes my sale. LOL the new girls in the club are taught , by my female manager, to say they will get the best dry"fu*k" of their life. I never use this though because looks can be decieving. You may think that you are talking to some guy who wants to here it a little more vulgar.... and it could backfire. I will admit that I have used it when I was on mission hustle at the end of the night, and the guy is more drunk. This is because the vulgar word may click in his drunk mind(Since we all tend to think a little more frisky when drunk.....). Regardless I will give each guy my sensual sexy dances wih eye contact and be fair. oh yea also....my club does not work well with going up to a guy and jsut asking for a dance. All the ladies usually sit for the time that I do. If you didn't in my club, it may seem like a typical hustle or being pushy since most of the ladies do sit.

    Well, that woudl depend on the club, I guess. You could tweak it to whatever suited you and your enviornment, maybe:

    And do you like to see half-naked women moving and dancing in the most erotic ways imaginable? Would you like to see THIS half-naked woman moving dancing in the most erotic ways imaginable just for you?

    Where I work the can touch, anywhere but boobs and thong. So it works for me. But you are right, you can't promise what you are not willing to deliver!

    You still have to hustle, just differently. Try to get as many dances as possible from one guy, and as many as possible in one night. Sounds like you'll need to focus more on the initial impression and impulse buyers rather than nursing relationships.

    Stand out from the crowd by using outfits that are bold, different and command attention - I do well in a long hot pink dress that fits well to show off my best assets and makes me glow like a giant neon sign moving through the club, for example.

    Once you've got their attention, work on closing the sale quickly - attention spans are extremely short in this type of club. You don't necessarily need any great lines, just a good delivery. I like to approach in some flirty-friendly-goofy way, sit on their laps, lean back in their ears, introduce and do some brief small talk before popping the question. Nothing too fancy. But I ALWAYS ask "do I get to dance for you?" instead of whether they want me to dance. It sounds more like I WANT to dance for them (I do) and in a loud club often sounds more like a statement: "I get to dance for you"...as I'm slightly nodding my head yes. It's easier for them to simply agree to that rather than decide whether they want me to dance One customer who was a salesman actually complimented me on this approach a few weeks ago - he said it's an excellent sales technique and he also bought 4 dances

    Be in a good mood for work, smile, be a happy stripper. During the introduction, ask how they're doing, and when they ask you back, reply positive and upbeat. I always say I'm "FABULOUS!" with a big smile. They eat it up.

    Bridgette I love your line I'm going to try it tonight. Another line to use in a club where there is low hustler is something like, are you having fun tonight? if they say yes, then you can say well I bet you'd be having even more fun if I gave you a lap dance right now, lets go, and if they say no they aren't having fun, or they aren't having fun yet, then say something like well lets go do a lap dance to get your fun started or something like that.
