There is a full nude BYOB club that I don't patronize much anymore. Its new plant, big parking lot, clean, beautiful girls, with no bar, overbearing doormen, and overbearing parking valets.
I tolerated the overbearing doormen, and cut a deal with the valets that I kept my keys and parked my car but they got paid anyway. The 18 year old crowd on weekends was a pain so i never went there Friday or Saturday which amerliorated that problem but did not entirely eliminate it.
No, what did it for me was the size specs on the BYOB flasks which are checked at the door. First of all I went in foudn out it was BYOB after veing seated...
got my hand stamped, left and bought one six pack of beer at the local drug store a mile away. Drove back. Valet wanted another parking fee. Won that
argument. Admission saw my stamp said OK. Bouncer saw the beer and threw me out (with the beer) and said only liquor in flasks but to come back.
Got back in the car drove to the drug store and went to liquor dept.
The econo flask of Southern comfort was a dollar more for twice the amount. Bought one and drove back to the club. Parking valet wanted a tip. Won that arguemt again. Admission left me in with stamp. Bouncer said hi lets see the BYOB. He said sorry its too big. Has to be undersix inches in height,
five inches in width and under one inch in thickness.
Demanded to see manager. Manager is basically an a__ H___ with a bad disposition, as most in s strip club are. He was serious
Left. Went back to car. Went to drug store. Bought tape measure.Went to flask department by counter. Measured flask.. bought small flask.
Drove back to club. Valet attendant said this is four times you gotta pay. Gave up and paid. Asked for his name. Said I would remember him.
(Still have not had a drink up to this point.) Admission looked at me strangely and asked if I was dealing drugs and to not come in. Let me in with hand stamp after explnation. Bouncer looked at flask... said OK.
Went in. Doorman wanted another tip. Thought of breaking flask over his head but it was too small. Gave up and sat at bar with flask.
However not allowed to drink alcohol at bar, only at table. Commandeered empty table. Got a mixer... paid for same. Waitress asked for tip.
Looked around. Drank entire flask at one sitting. Left. Never came back and went to standby neighborhood club that is pastie where people were friendly and no doorman.
Anyway... this is why I don't like BYOB clubs with the exception of Anthonys in Nashville where it is clear what to bring in which is beer.
After awhile it makes a great story to tell strippers... except it is a true story.![]()
