How do you interupt a guy when he keeps talking and talking? By the way, never bring up politics.

show him your boob........................lol....

If the guy keeps talking, take advantage of it. Just say, "You know, I'm having a wonderful time talking with you and I've got two regulars in the club right now. I'd rather spend time with you though, so why don't we carry this conversation to the VIP room and talk there?" This is a great system because not only does it give you an out if he's not interested so that you can pursue a paying customer, but on the flipside, it might just get you a VIP room trip. Either way, you win.

I just started and have this problem. Going on and on and on about themselves, which is fine, but then they only get like 1 lapdance. I had a guy go on for 30 min. about how he's a porn star and then bought 1 lap dance and had to go to the ATM to boot ! I'm having a really hard time with this (talkers) but hopefully I will learn.
Just excuse yourself. I won't talk to a guy for more than a few songs. If he's a regular and I know he'll spend money, I invest my time in them by paying them more conversational attention, and when I have to work they know I will excuse myself but will return at some later point.
A lot of guys love to have the dancer's attention and look like a bigshot without spending a dime. If a guy keeps talking and avoids the question of dances, more especially so if I've asked them, I just say I need to work and leave. You don't have to sugar coat things and listen to them blethering on about shit, it's your job for crying out loud and you need to make money. I say do away with the time-trolls.

i heard about three times "I just want to sit and talk" then I feel sorry for them/listen to them but end up getting screwed in the end $ wise.
Although this is great advice DW, I can't apply this to where I work. My club is so painfully small. Literally from the DJ booth to the locker room stairs is about two and a half car lengths, not that big. So if I do tell the talking troll I have regulars hel'l be able to see that I'm lying. Becuase I have a "friendly face" many a time guys really get into the conversation and waste my time. It sucks.Originally Posted by DancerWealth

Don't be so giving! Just tell them you have to do some work, ask if they'd like to help you work by buying a dance, if they say no then smile politely and walk away! Even if you have to go walk to the DJ booth and pretend to be finding a song or something, don't give then your time for free becasue otherwise they will expect it. Go back and check regularly on customers but recognise when the cut-off point comes in a conversation and make your excuses - they'll soon realise that the only way to get any length of your time is to pay for it.
My ATF always says that I talk too much during lap dances. She just tells me she can't concentrate on dancing while we talk, and that we can talk after she finishes dancing. So, we keep it to chatting before and after, but not during. It can be distracting for both during adance, and a waste of time if no dances are bought. Just tell them you have to go scope the rest of the room, and that you'll check back later (whether or not you do is up to you).
