Fat loss on stomach and thighs only??

I have an awesome body except for my stomach and thighs. I had a baby awhile back. I've been told that if I lost weight on my stomach and thighs, I could be a huge money maker. Is there any way that I could lose the fat on those areas and not all over? I have natural 36DD's that are nice (I don't want to loose those). Any help would be appreciated.....

can't spot reduced unless you go the lipo route. All you can do is eat clean, weight train, do cardio.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

I workout quite a bit. I do cardio everyday and I do weights on 4 days of the week. The rest of my body is losing the fat layer, except for my thighs and stomach. Do you think that taking some fat burning supplements would help or maybe a low carb diet? My trainer is awesome, but he doesn't realize that I have to drop some weight rather quickly (don't really want to tell him that am trying to get into dancing). Has anyone else had some luck with rapid weight loss by doing a no carb diet or any of the many weight loss pills out there? Again, I would appreciate any help......

stomach is the first to go for dancers--while you can't "spot train" I did the elliptical everyday and could do that for up to two hours at a time--did burn some fat, but muscle training will speed up fat burning. ALSO, have you tried a waist cincher? Until you lose the weight, it can cover the fat and you'd still be able to go topless and bottomless. I knew one girl you had a really pretty brocade one and a matching bikini top that looked like a corset until she removed her top part.
I'm also a fan of calorie counting for short periods of time (two weeks to a month on at your target cal point 1200-1400c, and then taking a short break)

Hey there...I had my son almost 4 years ago. Since he was born I have worked out for an average of 3-5 days a week, doing cardio, pilates, weight training, running, etc. Lost a good 30 of the 40 lbs I put on while pregnant. Then I hit a plateau. Once I started dancing 4 months ago, I lost a little more weight, but I have also been monitoring my diet more closely. Trying to limit the carbs and eat ONLY healthy foods (OK maybe some ice cream once in a while). I also have been taking Tonalin for a week now and I have been getting a LOT of compliments about how I look like I have lost weight, how my muscles look toned, etc. You can find more info about Tonalin CLA at: www.tonalin.com. It is available at health food stores. There are a few threads on here in this section about Tonalin. I don't have a scale so I don't know how much weight I have lost, but my clothes are looser and I had to go shopping for new shorts this week, since my clothes from last year are now too loose and are sliding off my tush. I think the combo of diet, exercise, tonalin, and dancing is helping me shed the final 5-10 lbs of the 40 lbs I put on during my pregnancy. If you are on the pill it should not affect the pill's effectiveness, but if you should decide to use Tonalin I woukld double check with your doctor for sure. But I am happy to say that the last bit of weight is FINALLY coming off after all that work. Sheesh! Hope this helps you.

Cut back drinking/ sugar intake. Belly fat mostly comes from alcohol calories. I get a mean belly when I drink too much and sit on my butt.
Thighs? Overall weight loss, IMHO. My body puts thigh fat right over the built-up muscle. Your body has to store fat somewhere, otherwise you're not a healthy female.
You'll survive if your breasts shrink a little from overall weight reduction. Your bulked-up pecs will compensate. Good luck.

^^What she said. You can do target workouts which will help define areas better than others, but to see the effects of tone in those areas, you must lose the extra skin there.

And you must reduce your sugar intake. I stayed off manufactured sugar for a week and a half and as quick as that, I could see the muscle tone on my stomach! It was crazy. But I work out often and eat a clean diet (drink 2L awter every day and my sugar comes from fruit), so it goes to show that determination really can work wonders

I have kinda the same issues. When I lose weight, everything seems to tone up except my belly. I have tried almost everything I know of except diet pills. What works??

Thank you so much for all those great tips. I guess I will see how it goes for the next few weeks. I really liked the idea of the cincher. Thanks again.....

My belly is the first place the fat goes. I gained 50 lbs. when I was pregnant, and I was able to lose about 35-40 of those pounds. I ate a strict diet and exercised a lot, and I did notice some toning in my belly, but it was still a potbelly--just a toned one. I'm going in for lipo to remove the excess fat in my abdominal area, as well as my lovehandles. That way, when I workout, not only will my stomach be more toned but also more defined. And I will possibly have more of an hourglass shape--yea.
