    Default Bruising Rave!!

I have finally learned some pole tricks and I was bruised and sore for the longest time; I looked like target pragtice for the UFC. Anyone else who is concerned with bruising, I now swear by Arnica gel. I read it here somewhere and it really works! OK I'm done.

yeah I used Arnica on my boobs after I had them done...

It was the only homeopathic remedy that my PS saw any validity in.

You can get it at Whole Foods--they have the pills and the topical forms. I use the topical form as it is safer than the pills.

I'll have to try it. I have bruises all over my inner arms and I even got a bruise on the side of my hip when I fell down in the gym on my side doing lunges the other day. Yes, I'm a clumsy ass. I bruise very easily and look like I've been beaten up.

Ice works really well the minute you get a bruise like from bumping into a table or just plain being normally klutzy. Put ice on the bruise immediately and it stops the blood and discoloration from spreading under the skin and getting bigger and darker. Yes, Yes, ARnica Gel is the BEST for bruises - it really works!! Then, of course, there is always DermaBlend for covering the bruise just in case you can't get rid of it quick enoug with the Arnica Gel. I myself don't use the Arnica pill. Has anyone used the pill? Does it work?

Love the pills (actually pellets). I used to use just the gel. I noticed that my bruises go away super quick when I take the pellets. The lower number concentration (like, say 6C) is better for acute conditions like bruising. You can find it in the little tubes at Whole Foods or Wild Oats Market. I can't imagine the pills would be dangerous... at worst they'd do nothing. The whole point of homeopathic meds is that they are super diluted.

Oh, and never touch the pills... follow the removal instructions on the bottle so as not to contaminate the rest of the pellets in there.

Yes, arnica rocks my socks off. The pill form is really rough on the digestive system, so I'd definitely recommend the topical type. Enjoy your new bruise free selves, ladies

This shit is the best! I hurt every time I work...I like to do floor work but cringe inside when it starts to hurt. I rubbed some on after work the next day and it helped heal my bruises faster and made then look less like I had got beaten up. It was only 7 bucks or so.
I got mine at the Vitaminshoppe. www.vitaminshoppe.com is thier online store.
