    Default travelling/working the southwest

So- I'd like to travel for three-six months around the southwest, so I'm wondering how the months of August-January are in AZ, NM, CO, and TX? I know there's a wide range depending on summer vs. christmas time, but I'm just curious about what to expect. Also, does anyone have recommendations for places (in areas with clubs) that rent living spaces by the week? Any dancers from this area, PM me if you want to talk shop about your areas. Thanks-

I hear Albuquerque is busy in summer but contact is relatively high. I know AZ is busy in winter.

AZ definitely slows down in the winter. Relatively low contact though, and still good money to be made!

Oops! I meant AZ slows down in the summer (due to the 115 degree weathe!). Sorry, just having a blonde moment!

Texas picks up in the fall; football season is usually good. I think that August is the worst month of the year no matter where you are in the country. As far as weekly rentals, your best bets are extended stay motels or Priceline; I don't know of a lot of furnished apts by the week anywhere but Manhattan.
