SC parking lots & your luxury car

    Hi

This is for customers and dancers and dj's and everybody who parks their car at a sc.

I found a key scratch on my car.

I believe this happened at the club. But I don't know for sure

Any suggestions as to what I should do in terms of perventing this?

And do you know of any good products to repaid the scrape? It's really really deep.

Sounds like some girl exacting revenge on you.

Shit, that freaks me out because I also have a nice beemer, but we have a valet guy.

Perhaps you can get one of thosealarms that scream "warning you are too close to the car!" when someone walks by it. Scares the hell out of people.........

Awwww....honey! I remember the first time I had my truck keyed Yukon Danali XL...rims, and all). Unfortunately, it was too deep to use any over the counter stuff. I had to take it to the body shop. Since then I have gotten a really kewl security system installed. If someone gets to close, a woman's voice yells "please step away from me". It actually has quite a few things to say depending on how close someone is or if it is being touched. It also has a setting where an electric shock is given when forcefully touched...haven't used that setting tho. Good luck darlin!

No shit it scares the hell out of people. I was 7 years old and walking through the parking lot into Disneyland and one of those went off. It will forever be imprinted into my memory.

But, it sounds like a good idea. At least then, if there is anyone outside (besides the attacker) they will get a heads up.

Well, it could have been one of those random scratches. You know the type...some drunk moron is jealous that someone has a beemer (or any other expensive/quality car) so they key it or piss on the tires or scratch the windshield, etc.

If Scorpio and I go out...we won't take our "good" cars. We have a little junker that we could care less what happens to it. LOL

I had a friend who had Sirius radio installed in her car...valet parked the car before she walked into her club to work...only to come out and find her window smashed out and her radio ripped out of the dash. Very questionable since the dancer's cars are kept in a locked/fenced lot...and the only person who would know there is a "specialty" radio in there is someone who is in the car...hmmmm...

Anyways...if it's a surface scratch (in the clear coat only) you can usually have it buffed out pretty quickly (and inexpensively). If it's down through the paint...you'll need to have a body shop sand it down, spot paint it, re-clear coat it and buff it all up. It can be pretty pricey...but never let something like that sit for long...it'll ruin the paint pretty quickly...possibly rust it out.

Sorry to hear some idiotic moron did that. Bumper to bumper scratches are no accident...

I use a very old top of the range Ford car that I rescued from the wreckers for most of my journeys into town. It saves all those worries.

My brother had this happen right after he got his Lexus. He parked it at the movie theater on an end spot and when he came back someone had keyed it from front to back. They even started the scratch and it wasn't deep enough so they started over again and did it twice. My brother is just a nice nerdy guy who had a nice car but a lot of people just do this shit to nice cars out of jealousy. He had to take it to a body shop and have it fixed but his insurance paid for part of it.

yep i learned that lesson along time ago. I also had my car scratched at the club when working. Then i just started getting a ride from friends, and paying for gas from time to time. It was alot cheaper than having my car painted, which i had done, as they claimed they could not match the paint. It was my Mercedes in the Gallery. Car is sold, but still it was a sedan, not a small car.

    I was pissed.

However now i own a 3000GT, and while at the shopping mall one night, my friggin grill was taken out!!!! Actually looked more like kicked out. Lucky me, i have a couple dings now, but the next target will be my friggin spoiler....

I really hate shit like that.

I remember this happened at my club- I think it was one of the dancers, since the girl whose car got keyed was asking about it in the dressing room. SHE thought it was one of the dancers.....
Park close to the front next time.

Dont drive a BMW to the SC....plain and simple.

I keep my BM out of shitty places...or at least i try to.

I never take it out unless i know what the parking will be like. Never valet and never in some shitty place.

It happens with nice cars...nothing you can do about it...people hate for no reason.
