    Sad Still bruising A LOT!

    Girls...this is such a

I'm still getting mega huge bruises all over my legs, hips, knees and upper butt crack. By the end of my work week ( I work 4 days a week) I can hardly touch my legs. Not to mention how ugly it is...

I'm tired of using dermablend and I've heard good things about arnica. I haven't tried it yet though. I've been dancing for about a month now and it hasn't improved. The bruises go away for the most part after my 2nd day off but then they are back the first time I work...

I'm not hard on the pole or anything.

    Thanks Fathom!

What I was really getting at was the fact that it isn't getting any better. I thought it would lessen with time...

Arnica here I come...and pinepple juice! YUM!

I was just thinking... You may be anemic (sp?) if you are bruising a lot. I know I am, you may want to get checked. I bruise VERY easily, if you are you can take iron pills ( if they don't make you sick). I tried to take iron pills they make me nauseous... YUCK!!!! Just a thought...

I bruised really easily my first two months...after that, it all started to go away.

It'll take a little while. But, I do agree that you should go to the doctor and get your iron count checked. That could very well be a factor. It wasn't with me.

You may also want to rethink your dancing moves. You may not be "hard" on your body, but doing some moves on a wood/hard stage will really make a difference.

Just my $0.02, I'm finding that the homeopathic pellets of Arnica Montana work faster than the topical ointment. You can use them in tandem, though. In homeopathic remedies, they usually come in different strengths like 6c or 30c or some such. The 6c is better for acute problems such as bruising.
