Thumbs down bartender thought she could pull a stunt on me

The games people play. How about doing something to you, then in front of others, not only do they deny doing it but accuse YOU of having done it. It's the oldest trick in the book and kinda reminds me of those hypocrite bastards who spurred the witch hunt back in the day.

All I have to say is that the incident is hardly worth detailing. But whenever you show a weakness such as fighting visibly with a customer, losing your temper, or anything else that easily makes it easy for other people to paint you as being this way all the time, the hating bitches start coming out of the woodwork to try to take advantage of your reputation and essentially try to piss you off so that you actually DO end up acting this way. The ultimate goal seems to be they would love to see you gone. Thankfully, my manager is a cool dude and he believes me, and knows that I'm not a pathetic liar like the bartender is.

People like her make me more alert, more professional, and better.

Then again, I think that bitch is truly a pathetic individual. Thank god for karma.

ooooh you can't tease us like that now! DETAILS please!

But I agree, people that are out to tear you down are everywhere; this certainly isn't isolated to the strip club industry.
Also, any environment where a bunch of women work together is bound to have the occassional (sometimes non-stop) cattiness...

    2 peso's....

Not sure the details are important really or who's fault it was, doesnt matter when it comes time to count your money or work the main floor on a packed night.
The bartender isnt the person at a club who you want to be on your bad side,SPECIALLY if she is a psycho or plays games like what your describing.
She can fuck with your hustle and every customer you sit with all night long, and not get in trouble for it,all she has to do is "go slow"when it comes to you or ignore your customers, etc.

Im not saying bow down to the bartender, inside of those walls its your world,im just saying the bartender can rock your world, all night long.
Its best to work with your bartender and not against, even if you have to put up with some things you dont like.
    Grin and bear it.
Its a cost of doing business.
If you can grow skin against customers, you can also do it for psycho bartenders,dj's,doorguys, managers, etc.

Find a way to fix this,or you have to shop for a new club, your money depends on it.

    Best of luck

Believe me when I say it's not worth mentioning, but if you need to know it was lame. She screamed at me when I second guessed my short term memory as to whether or not she had paid me the difference in my time card and she took it as me second guessing her stealing from me. Fine. But next time I come into work she tells me to not ever scream at her again. My jaw drops because it was her that screamed and she swifly responded 'No I didn't'. This is about nothing but her being unhappy that I don't tip generously anymore since awakening from my naive idiocity, and of her trying to play on my reputation for losing my temper with CUSTOMERS...sorry hag, but you didn't get the response out of me you were hoping for. I love the ART OF WAR. I whip it out any time someone tries to sneak up on me.

Do you ever get as tired as I do listening to jealous slander???? YAWN... Jesus, say something I haven't heard before. I find it odd and highly coincidental that it always is targeted towards 1) pretty 2) money-making girls. The funny part is when the whole ' I'll kick that bitch's ass if she fucks with me too!' is thrown in, and the object of gossip hasn't done a damn thing, nor even notices the idiot because she's too busy making money.

Tonight I tipped the bartender the mandatory six bucks, with one dollar in all coins, hee hee. I love payback when it's done nice and slow...

Personally, I think you are just jumping from the pot into the fire. You may think it's funny...but you are making your work situation much harder.

    Right.

I don't get the fueds at work. A lot of girls spend too much time thinking about someone that isn't giving them money.

    im with venus and emily...

good example: i work with one particular manager who is a miserable bitch. This club has a $5 minimum tipout to managers, so I would usually give her 5-10 bucks, depending on the night. She got progressively cranky and short with me for no reason. She truly has the ability to make working there HELL. So I thought I'd see how much money talks to her...

I started tipping her a 20 when I worked instead - what a difference! Sometimes it's worth a slight inconvenience or a little bigger tipout to make your environment at work better (even if the people dont really deserve it). Now, this manager is sweet as pie to me and very, very accomodating...

    She's still a bitch though....

Yeah but I no longer care because I'm bitter over the fact that she screamed into my ear while I was still tipping her relatively well---15 on an ok night and at least 8 on a very bad night. When I first started I tipped her no less than 20 even on terrible nights while she treated me like a punk for being a new dancer. On good nights that little bitch got 40-60 dollars from my stupid ass. I tend to be too generous with money, and still am if I like the person. People who treat me like shit though, make it impossible for me to tip them well because it makes me feel like a doormat, and ya kinda get tired of feeling like that after a while.
