ok, customers, i have a question. i have had an injury. heels can cause pain. if it matches the outfit, does it turn you off if a girl dances in these with say a police outfit, army outfit, etc.?

Personally no - and I suspect your feet are not a priority place for most of your customers to look anyway.Originally Posted by toxicgirl
I suspect the questions you need to consider are aesthetic ones.
(a) Do your legs look better in heels than in flats?
(b) Are you very short, so that dancing in flats leaves you a lot shorter than most of your potential customers?
By the time you've got a customer for a private dance, I suspect whether you are wearing flats or heels is irrelevant. The question is whether wearing flats will affect your success rate in getting the dances in the first place.
And now over to my fellow customers.....

I think that entirely too much emphasis is placed on shoes in SC's. Towering heels do make a difference as far as height is concerned, but the effect on the look of the leg is minimal.
The performance is a package of costume4, personality and talent. If a girl is good at what she does, a customer shouldn't particularly care about whether she has on heels or flats or no shoes at all!

I'm going to second what Yoda said. Find out first if your club will allow you to wear a flat shoe. No point in thinking up themed costumes where you can wear a flat shoe/boot if you won't be able to.
Secondly, if you are allowed to do that, then think up themed outfits. The visual impact of a flat shoe will be less if you're dressed as a tennis player, cheerleader, army chick, etc, than if you walk out in a gown and flats. The devil is in the details ;-)
Strippers wear shoes?![]()

I’ve worked in all kinds of shoes in the past and it truly made no difference in my earnings…
As long as you look and feel sexy, wear it!

I wish dancers could wear sketchers, the platform version if you prefer.![]()
I don't understand 5-8" heels at all. They do nothing for me.![]()
I agree with those who say it doesn't/shouldn't matter. I think it's silly that every dancer wears those ridiculous heels, but I know that it's part of the rquired uniform for many clubs. Some carry it off well, some don't. I've seen dancers trip over themselves in those heels, or walk flatfooted because they don't know how to walk with them. Not sexy (unless the dancer laughs it off, which can be endearing). If you can carry it off, wearing them on stage is usually advantageous -- the longer line and dominating image adds to the fantasy, but to me wearing them on the floor isn't particular sexy. And for a height-challenged customer, on floor level those heels either represent a mountain he can't resist climbing, or an intimidating amazon.
Anyway, if you do have the option, do what you feel like doing and what you feel more comfortable with. Overall, I don't think wearing them or not makes much of a difference -- unless a customer has a fetish about high heels, he'll be dancing with you, not with the shoes.
The first week or so of dancing, here's what I wore: tank top, bikini panties, and cute flip flops. Did it affect my earnings? No..but did I buy stripper clothes the next week? YES!![]()
I think that it shouldnt matter.I have worn no shoes before and flip flops even.I think wearing a teenager shoe instead of like an old lady church shoe would be better. It could show youthful -ness.I am pretty short 5'2.Alot of guys like short compared to tall.I dont think it will affect your money.
