    Default Need a fast toning workout!!

    Hey, I'd like to do a H.Tropic bikini contest. My weight's ok, just a lil' ya know. not toned. I have til' 6/1, does anyone have anything faster acting, for me to get started? I know, not that much time but let me know, thanks. I do have a treadmill.

    Yep, fire up the treadmill. I feel guilty recommending this because it will hurt, but run like a champion track star from now 'till 6/1. I hate running, but I do notice toning and easier endurance after a few days....do wear a good sports bra, as to not damage your breasts. (PS Muscle soreness- ease up to let muscle fiber heal, but keep going at the same paces...)

    I agree... running can be tedious but can kick your butt at the same time... my recommendation is to find some great music, and change up your workout.

    If your treadmill has incline options, use 'em! Inclines keep calves toned and butts tight! Switch it up by running distances one day, sprints the next, inclines the next, and power walking the next! Don't forget to stretch and use longer workouts with lower intensity on the days you're hurting! Good luck! (PS try to stay within your target heart rate so you don't burn muscle, and keep lifting weights to keep your metabolic rate up!)

    Also, get your weights and do squats, lunges, heel raises, then do push-ups and sit ups. They'll help "define" the muslces.

    The New York 2 week body plan! I'm vegan so I didn't follow the diet exactly but the exercise plan was intense. It will totally whip your butt but your body will look super fab super quick.
