yeah i read this and can't say I am surprised. I have implants, but I am smart enough to know that there are not without problems.

ew! I'm surprised. I always thought that the implants were sterile. I don't see how that can be though if the "packaging for the implants was sometimes infested with fleas."
Are the implants somehow sterilized before they're inserted or are they supposed to arrive at the surgeons office already sterile?
They said the fleas were in the packing material, so I'm guessing they were in the space inside the box, but outside the sterilized packaging.
This isn't just scary for the surface story, but also a reality check about how much information is being kept from us.
Of course, this won't stop women from getting them. It's beyond me how people will subject themselves to KNOWN carcinogens for aesthetics.
I'm still considering having cohesive gel implants and not basing my decision on one person or two people nor on one report nor on what is reported in the news.
They are supposed to arrive in sterile packaging to the surgeon then they can fill them accordingly. I saw my implants in their packaging in the OR before they put me to sleep. Egh...I have Mentor implants too...so far so goodOriginally Posted by LoveSexMoney
