Ever get lazy at work? Like to the point where there is a roomfull of easy money guys (and I mean EASY), and you just go and sit down and dont bother with them? Perhaps this is part of my problem, I just seem to get lazy at work.

It happened to me a lot at one club because i worked 6 days a week and Monday through Thursday were so dead. Even if the club was packed on a Friday/Saturday it was sometimes hard to work up the motivation because i was dead tired and feeling dejected.
I dont feel tired or anything, I just get lazy for some reason, and I ALWAYS want to leave early, again I dont know why.
I get pretty lazy when I lose interest. Sometimes I don't even know why i lost interest. Maybe that's it?

I get that way too sometimes. It's because I'm burnt out.You maybe too.

If I am, Ive been burntout since October last year, lol. I donno, but I think Im going back at least one weekend to get the money for those new couches and chaise I want![]()
If it's only at work I would have to agree with 'Only The Best' ~ sounds like burn out to me. If it's in other areas as well you might want to see a doctor or take a look at your diet and how many hours of sleep your getting, especially if its been since October. Hmm maybe you just need a fun vacation![]()
I purrr, therefore I am ...

I havent felt that yet. Hope I wont. But, the 1st time I danced I would look at the room and think "yea I could go out there and hustle up some cash ...but I dont wanna".
Usually, those times I have been there over 8 hours and pack up my stuff to go. I figure Im burnt out on the day.

I get that way on and off...
sometimes I think of funny ways to keep myself entertained..
wearning wild outfits, pulling pranks etc.
You might have a severe case of burn out but, if you can keep it at bay it won't effect you as much.
Try thinking like you're not at work...
think about things that will keep you happy and interacting with the custy's.
Look for customers that put you in a positive mood... (not put the emphasis on money)
sometimes i come out of the bathroom with a really long piece of toilet paper on my shoe and act like i don't notice it.

ive felt like this every single night since i came back here.
ive figured out,i need a push. when i worked in a club with a wicked manager who pushed us to make money, motivated us etc,and i KNEW there was no way in hell id ba allowed to go home early etc - i put in the effort, kept up my spirits, and started to bank.
now my manager is wicked, but not pushy enough,im too comfertable, and relaxed, i spend more time in the dressing room then ever before, thats if i make it into work!
go to a club where you get that puch.
or have a break![]()

I get like that a lot. I have a deal with one of my buddies at work though, when she feels like that I motivate her and vice versa. It works out good.
Man oh man, I'm am the Queen of burn out at this point. I pretty much have come to truly dislike my job. Can't wait to start school. I also get burnt out from working the same club too long. Need to change it up every so often. Mainly I believe it's the type of clubs I've been working. Too much effort - not enough reward. So, no more effort, even less $$$. Bleeecckkk! I'm exhausted and ready to retire. There's nothing worse than surveying the crowd, seeing potential money, and just not giving a damn shit any which way about it. Yeesh, there's my cue!

I'm like that a lot. Feh. No motivation, no energy.... even if someone just threw the cash at me!

tahaha peaches, that's the best attitude!
being silly, if it doesn't end up making you any money anyway, will at least entertain a bored girl! i find when i get bored or irritated, i get really compelled to do spur of the moment, bizarre things, and they keep me giggling about it to myself for the rest of the day!

I get like that when I'm physically tired. It's sales and I have to keep myself from yawning sometimes while giving a guy the same spiel through my forced smile. It's repetitive and boring so the only thing that keeps me from burnout is having a financial goal for the next shopping spree.
That happens to me now and then. It's occassionaly because I would rather be at home playing than at work, and occassionaly because I may come to work feeling introverted (the "real" me is rather quiet; the "stripper" me is not). Although I feel the desire to recluse to the dressing room and chat, I've found two things that help me out with it. If I don't want to hustle because I'm feeling shy or introverted that day, I go sit with one of our bar regulars and talk. I know there's no money in it, but they are people I know and like, and after talking with them for awhile and watching the club I eventually get to feel either more outgoing or more motivated to make some $$. I also have a couple of absolute favorite songs that I save, and choose them for stage sets only when I need extra energy. I love "Missionary Man" by the Eurythmics; when I get done with that I almost always feel happy and sexy and ready to work... so long as I don't overplay it.
