I wish there was a quicker way, but drinking more water and taking a nap. Or, you can try a small amount of liquor and heating pad (or hot bath) can work.
I was about to say drinking some liquor also, it'll numb the pain atleast.Originally Posted by madmaxine
And the heating pads that you can get at CVS would probaly ease the tension, they are the ones that have velcro to wrap around your stomach or put in your short, they heat up and then you throw them away when the cool off.
I think a peppermint bath is supposed to ease tension as well.

This looks VERY promising, it's about a pepper sinus spray that helps get rid of cramps and migraines

I read somewhere that there are 3 major different types of headaches and that you always need one of 3 things when you get one of these headaches. You either need water(something like Gatorade will do), caffine, of simply asprin.
i used to get really bad headaches that coincided with my period. that's when I started cycling through my birthcontrol. they were pretty much migraines....lasted for days. it sucked.
drink red raspberry leaf tea or try chamomile and peppermint tea brewed together. i use advil for headaches or you could try this thing called migrastick. it's a small green tube and you rub the contents on your temples. you can get it at natural food stores.
