    Lightbulb daytime tiredness

I've just started working 3 nights ago and I feel so zombie like during the day..

How long would this feeling last? Does anyone have any tips?

I feel that way all the time after working. It doesn't go away. My tip, don't drink a lot while at work and take a 30 min. nap during the day sometime.

A lot of its going to have to do with your diet, if you're getting enough water, and how many hours of sleep you're getting a night.

The water idea is great. Also eat enough good food while you are there. I mean protien, fruits, some crackers. Keep your meals small and nutrient dense. Pay close attention to your diet that also makes people more tired that they should be.
Try to sleep better on your time off. If you have to get out the sleep mask and ear putty to sleep good.

Good tips above. I can't stress proper diet enough. Eating healthy is important for sooo many reasons! And we're not talking about going on a diet, we're talking about eating balanced, healthy meals at appropriate intervals.

Take vitamins, drink at least 3 of those half-liter bottles of water per day, sleep at regular times. Try to go to bed at about the same time everyday. Avoid alcohol, especially at work (if you can work sober you'll learn MUCH better hustle and be more steadily profitable that way also). Taking care of yourself does help you feel better and less sleepy in daytime. Working stripper hours is HARD on your body, so taking care of it is that much more important for us.

I have this problem sometimes as well. I don't drink at work, but many nights I will go over to my boyfriend's aprtment after work and we will do a few shots and the next day
I am beat. I'm convinced it's the alcohol, even though I don;t drink that much. Even if I don't drink, we are usually up until 6 in the morning anyway. It's sort of rough to get up and have a productive day before going into work with that kind of schedule.

    I agree with all above...
I would just add stretching before and after work..
If you have a bath tub... soak before stretching!!

also the more I lay around (not including a nap) the worse I feel..
after that nap take a short walk or go shopping

thanks everyone for the advice. I guess the tiredness stems from adjusting to the hours. I'm used to getting up at 7am every morning and now I wake up at 12am after work.

I still feel a little tired.. Time to buy some vitamins.
