I've just had my fourth tan in two weeks and still no tan lines...I don't want any spray on tanning or anything. Just a good old fashioned bed tan. It's been a few years since I've gone regularly. This is proably my 8th in 3 years. I used to just go 2 or 3 times and it was perfect for months...
Any black women on here tan? How long does it usually take for you to see results? Also what's your skin tone. I'm a toasted caramel-- like Janet Jackson when she isn't on a skin lightening binge.

finally something i can help with! Im not ebony, but i am hispanic so i my skin has a lil bit of a tan already...but not much. So, from personal experience: The best/fastest way to get a tan in my opinion is to first make sure your skin is healthy and moisturized...try not to use baby oil or any lotion not specifically made for the tanning bed...for more than just protection reasons...the baby oil actually starts to cook to the acrylic on the bed and it ruins them eventually...not to metion its stinks when it gets hot-someone will think something is burning, lol. The salons mark up lotion almost 300%..theyre killing on profit so try to order online...just make a note of what lotions the salon carries,or what youve used and liked and do a search for it..few of my favorites are designer skin, john abate, and swedish beauty. Lotions with hemp intensify the rays, btw
Tingle lotions should be tested on a small area before applied to everywhere (except face! dont want to sweat tingle into your eyes) Use that once you have a base tan...(once you can see a white line or notice youre a level darker) Tingle brings melonin (the part of your skin that turns brown) to the top and therefore you tan faster. if you have areas that are more resistant but cant stand the tingle all over...just use it on the resistant areas. I.E. I would start with a special tanner for my face (non comodegenic), then use an accelerator with hemp and a bronzer all over except my shins and forearms, then use the tingle on the remaining, wipe off hands and hop in for a 20 min nap
