    Angry Ugh cellulite!

Hi there does anyone know of any way (other than lipo) that I can help get rid of my cellulite? Its not on the back of my legs mainly in my butt. I tried Tonalin for a month and I didnt really see any difference - do I need to take it longer than that?
I work out abt 5-6 days a week and do alot of lunges - i do the Firm tapes mostly and pilates. But I cant get rid of it!
I cant even think about starting as a dancer with any cellulite right? All the girls that I have seen have just about perfect bodies! Im on the skinny side but I still have some bumps and I want them gone!

You've got it wrong when you say dancers don't have cellulite. I'd say about 80% of the girls I work with have different variations of cellulite. When they get under the lights on stage, you hardly notice. If you're waiting for cellulite to go away before you start dancing, you'll be waiting forever. It's part of being a woman and there's guys out there that don't want a perfect woman in front of them. They like the flaws. As far as getting rid of them, I've done the pilates, taken the tonalin, work out on the treadmill 5 times a week, drank lots of water, it still doesn't go away. Celebrate your beauty babe, you are a woman with imperfections.

Oh god, no! Just wait until your first day in the dressing room. You won't believe some of the things you'll see! Girls have cellulite, stretch marks..... the perfect body is few and far between.
I hate cellulite though. Even when you know it isn't just you, looking in the mirror can be a downer sometimes.

lipo isn't for cellulite... its for fat... When I went for my consult the Dr. told me that lipo would do nothing for the cellulite...

Here's a little trick I heard pagents do the day before the big show...

They sleep with siren plastic wrap around their ass and thighs. It makes their skin look a bit smoother the next day. I tried it and it made everything look smooth. It's a good temporary fix.

Also I heard good things about that cellulite cream by Loreal. I'm gonna get the day and night bottle cream. Nivea is good too. Some creams are a good way to camouflage(sp?) cellulite.

Drink lots of water, and avoid lots of caffeine...esp. carbonated drinks.

Avoid sugar & friend foods too.

The sexiest girl at my last club had thighs and booty w/ cellulite allover it...Not gross , jiggleing when she walked, but just a little bit when she danced. And you know what I was still hot for her!

You are a woman and it comes witht he territory. Besides even if you are in a room full of 10's, some guys gonna be sick of looking at flawless women walk by and want something a bit more down to earth.

Girrrrrrrrl. If you only KNEW. My cellulite on my rear/thighs looked like someone hit me with a sack of nickles. yesh! I tried that nivea firming cream and I think w/ constant use I get SOME results (its no miracle worker) but it DOES smooth me out a bit. Also, STAY hydrated, avoid salty foods (or so I've heard) they make it worse.

Blacklights, tanning, make-up can all help hide the nasty beast from beneath - but don't sweat the small stuff... 99.9% of the time guys are concentrating on what they LIKE about you - not what they don't.

This might surprise you (it surprised me!) but I was happy to get my cellulite BACK! I was sick, lost weight, and afterwards, I looked like a zombie. My sister was like, "Your ass is GONE."
Tonalin has many good results, only one being the cellulite shrinkage. You need to take it longer and maybe change brands....and work out to bulk up your muscle definition.
Years ago I was jealously eyeballing a girl who had NOT ONE bit of cellulite on her- but she was as skinny as a rail all over. If you have curves, you get cellulite. A woman's body is a fat-storing machine.
PS A little tan makes a lot of difference in the appearance of cellulite.

I've had it since like grade school. I don't know what % of women have it, but it's high. Been using the Avon cream, I use it on & off so I can't really say about the results. Heard good things about the Nivea & Loreal too. I also have Nivea firming lotion w/CO Q 10, just started using it. If you notice, most the creams promise to improve the APPEARANCE of cellulite. Also, some products were reviewed recently in Allure.

I have been using the loreal set of day night cream and I guess it helps somewhat. I have it too for a few yrs. But the other ladies are right, everyone has it and under the lights you can't tell.

Liposuction will NOT get rid of cellulite. It MAY lessen the apperance of cellulite, however in some instances surface irregularity can look worse after liposuction.

I have it. I just got it last year. I am SKINNY (5'9" and 120 lbs). I dropped from 126 to about 117 and it didn't make a difference. But you know what? All you do is slap some Loreal fake tanner on it (don't really tan, as it will make it worse) and go out there.

You have obviously never been in a dressing room. Your jaw would drop at the things you never saw out on the floor. Stretch marks that look like the girl has been hit with shrapnel, MAJOR dimples, etc, that will never show up on stage except for once in a while if they turn on a harsh light.

Don't sweat the cellulite. I've had allergic reaction and gone out in red splotches from head to toe and no one can see in there.

Do a search on body brushing. Its not perfect but it really reduces it. ALOT.

I have cellulite and think my thighs are too big and the one night I did dance (still haven't gotten back again due to one thing or another happening in my life) no guys seemed to mind. One guy even told me I had beautiful hips! He was drunk, but I'll still take the compliment. I still haven't tried the body brushing yet. Keep forgetting to buy a brush.

Yes, dry brushing helps. It makes you feel good too, it's hard to describe. You'll know it when you do it.
You can use the 99 cent bath brush with the removable handle and fabric strap on the back, you can find them anywhere.

Dry brushing, how many minutes do you have to brush it on the problem area??

Oh, btw... I saw this one dancer who had a toned fit muscular body, but had really bad very dimply cellulite on her ass and back thighs. Every female has cellulite, even if you can't see it.
