Hey-
any suggestions? I wanted to try courier--has anyone done that? Other than that, best websites? I've done the basic ones like expedia, priceline, etc. but I'm looking for super cheap as possible.

I have found some great rates on www.hotwire.com but I have noticed they always vary, and not any one site is ever the better rate 100% of the time. I usually hit like 4 or 5 and see which has the best. Shop around!
waffles are just pancakes with little squares on them.
hotwire is good. I also use orbitz.

I prefer Expedia.com. Otherwise I just go straight to Southwest's, Delta's, Ata, or Jet Blue's web sites because they're almost always the cheapest airlines.

You can also potentially save LOTS of extra money by buying promo fare tickets to cities where you really don't want to go ... jump ship at the connecting city ... and then grab a low fare ticket for a regional carrier from the connecting city to the city where you DO want to go ! For example, there are lots of promo fares available from California to Florida or to New York - and many connect in Chicago. If you want to get to (to pull a city out of the hat) Indianapolis, buy the promo ticket to New York, but get off at Chicago, and then jump a regional carrier from Chicago to Indianapolis ! Total out-of-pocket cost for tickets will be well below ANY discount fare booked from California to Chicago to Indinapolis in the first place.
Disclaimer - this is not illegal in the least, but it does increase the probability that you'll get a more thorough security screening.
If you are a student or under 26 check student fares (STA travel, Travel CUTS etc).
Very cheap.
Feature costumes for sale!

Check the websites for the specific airports you want to go to. Sometimes they have discounted non-stop flights (i.e. Canton-Akron, OH to Boston, MA for $44.00 one way). Also the individual airlines will sometimes be cheaper. Do your homework and don't go to orbitz. http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse....u=orbitz_blows

I like www.travelocity.com but I'm gonna try your suggestion too AHM.
