    Default Dream Cycles/ Reading

I noticed my dreams come in cycles now, and was wondering if this is true for others. Not many for a few weeks, then one or two every night for a week. It's probably hormones. I was curious to hear from others- since I have an ADD-type brain, I have to read dreams for answers to problems I'm too scatterbrained to solve while awake.

Yeah, I'll go for months or so with nothing and then several vivid ones in a wekk or two...Excellent point to bring up I wonder what's up with that?!?
If everything you try is a sure thing, you aren't taking enough risks. If you never fail, you put a limit on the degree to which you can succeed. In short, the only way to win big is to risk losing

Last night I had a bunch of odd ones. Probably from the effort of trying to have them, LOL......I read that the brain produces dreams nightly, it's just a matter of whether we remember them at all.

Dreams are apparently vital to our well-being, including other more highly developed mammals, such as dogs and cats. I always wake up any cat or dog of mine that's having a nightmare, poor little things--but never interrupt them when they are about to finally kick Spot's ass or catch that mouse.

There are also lucid dreams wherein you know you are dreaming and can possibly shape them.

This can be a lot of fun...

Most of our dreams we don't remember because of the 90 minute REM cycle.

I like remembering mine, even the bad ones, because sometimes they can help you figure out what's going on in your life.

You never NOT have a dream...you always dream...however, you usually do not remember them. If you start journaling right when you wake up (when the dream is most fresh in your mind), you will notice that you begin remembering more and more of the dream...and also that you are having 1, 2, 3 or even 4 dreams a night.

Dreams will also tell your subconcious what your concious mind does not want to know. That's why they are so vital with problem solving.

I remember my dreams in spurts too. I had a dream the other night this one guy I work with gave me a huge wad of cash. Hmmmm... Maybe that means I should ask him for some money!

What is funny is my dad will tell you he doesn't dream but you have never heard anyone talk in their sleep like my dad! He can even carry on a conversation with you and the only way you realize he's asleep is that the conversation will make NO sense!

I have had some very 'active' dreams that i wake up and remember for a few weeks now. It's kinda odd for me, when i fall back asleep it's like the dream continues at the point it left off when i wake up to pee or whatever.

I dream ALOT know. And remember them. Some scare me, some are hot..Really, and some i just can't make heads or tails of.

I had a dream about my dead sister one night, and she did not know she was dead, i lost her in Sept. Me there with her, as i was working the hospital she came into, but her skin started falling off in the dream, and i noticed this, when i mentioned it, she turned to me and yelled "My name is Tanisha!" > (sp) WTF? I woke up. And let it go.

They are a mystery to me.
