Anne Bancroft died of cancer (if anyone here even knows who she is), she was the seductive Mrs. Robinson in Mike Nichols' classic "The Graduate" and is also known for her Academy Award winning role in "The Miracle Worker". She was a great contributor to cinema as well as theater. And hell... she was married to Mel Brooks for the last 40 plus years, so she had to have been one of the coolest ladies to have ever graced this planet.
I'd like to at least put this quote out there from her that I found while looking up on IMDB.
"Life is here only to be lived so that we can, through life, earn the right to death, which to me is paradise. Whatever it is that will bring me the reward of paradise, I'll do the best I can."
