Default @ home airbrush tan guns

Anyone use an @ home tan airbrush kit w/the gun? Ok, I know we've had a ton of tanning threads. I tried the salon spray tan, (too expensive) Neutrogena spray aeorsol, (ok, but looking for something at least a little better). There's a product, salonbronze.com you get a "gun" w/cartridges for around $20.00. Also, on hsn.com I ordered, but didn't sent in the $ (still deciding on, I have 10 days) basically the same thing but more "extras" w/it, (barrier cream for hands, feet, tan extender). It seems more cost effective to buy the gun, cartridges, etc., plus it shoot out evenly, (not having to hold an aerosol button down, or apply lotion evenly wash hands, etc).

I was going to ask the same thing! I am sick of the tan-in-a-can and the lovely ORANGE glow it gives me.

they have one of those spray tan guns at rite aid but I haven't tried it. They don't seem to sell refill cartridges so I don't know if that's something that you're supposed to reorder by phone or online or what.

Hey, thanks, Mer., Ic3, & LSM. I believe the $20.00 "drugstore gun" is salonbronze.com. brand Ic, the one I was/still am cinsidering is a "package" (gun, barrier cream, tan extender, info dvd, extra carridges). I believe it's goin' for $79.00 + tax & shipping. They (hsn.com) had 2 other smaller less exp. packages too. The 79.00 one sold out (I think I can still get it, they give you 10 days to send check or give them the $.)

I bought one of these a while back, but ended up getting it for free.

I ordered the product from the Salon Bronze website after reading about it in Redbook, and charged it to my credit card. The order was placed March 28 (or so), but they didn't even charge my card until the end of April! Another two weeks went by- still no tanning gun. I e-mailed customer service, and they told me it would take up to 4 weeks to get the product.

So... 4 weeks went by...and still nothing. I waited a few extra days just to be sure...STILL nothing. I wrote back and asked for a refund. It's amazing- they did this within 2 days. A few weeks later, a box shows up at my apartment. HA! To my surprise, there is the Salon Bronze that I had ordered months before! I thought, "Screw it, it came to me so I'm keeping it!"

Anyway, the product is good. If you can't tell from my picture, I'm very fair skinned. I ended up as dark as Mox (my boyfriend), and the tan lasted for a while with gradual (not streaky or spotty fading). The only problem is if you get sort of "trigger happy" and spray way too much tanner on- then you have to wipe it off. I finally just got Mox to spray me- he did a pretty good job, too!

It was awesome that I ended up getting it for free, but it still would have been worth the $20 bucks. Be careful, though, because they'll try to get you to order a bunch of extra crap that will rack up the cost of the product!
