Default how many work the day shift?

I'm just curious. I work the night shift currently at a bikini club but hate coming home at 3:30 in the morning. Theres only one club in my area that I would consider day shift at and I heard through the grapevine that on days like thurday and friday it's gets busy. How many of you actaully do really good on the day shift?

I went from nights to days and I love it! I actually started making more money working days so I cut down my hours, too. It's really all about quantity vs. quality. Although days shifts seem emptier, an average day customer is more mature, has more cash and likes to spend it. whether or not you'll make $$$ depends on the type of entertainer you are. If you're a hustler and like to turn and burn, you should probaly stick to nights. If you like to take your time and develope regulars, you might want to check out days. Good luck!

I've done really well on days.. especially Thursday and Friday days. I'll work nights the rest of the week but I know I can be off by 2am. The weekend nights kill me. I'm actually considering going on to days completely.

And I totally agree with Mia: if you are better at developing a thing with a customer than days can be lucrative. Turn and burn doesn't work so well during the day.

i used to work days, not now because i enjoy the summer weather too much, but honestly working days was so much easier for me and i'd often make more money than i make now working nights, working harder and later. daytime guys are usually older and have more time and money so they go for more vips and such.

I work open till close and day shift for me is Hit Or Miss. It's usually hit though. I tend to do better during the day, but not 100% of the time.

I went back to day shifts for now. I do quite well, even when regulars of mine don't show up.

I switch once every 2 to 3 months. I love my job but I hate people. Switching helps me weed out the customers who waste my time or annoy me. Also, makes more of an impact when I tell them I haven't been making enough. Either I'm a new girl to the customer, or I've been missed on that shift. It keeps the money up. I like day shift the best. When I'm done I still have time to go to Barnes and Noble or PetSmart. Night shift helps keep my hustler in tact.

You have to experiment with it in different clubs to see how it works out. In some cities where the clubs have central visible locations day shift gets good traffic.

The older customers who are our target ones tend to overwhemingly come to most clubs during the afternoon and earlier evening hours. Unless a middle aged guy is out of town, or has no one in his life, 2/3 of them are not going to walk ina club at 11PM.

You will develop regulars and the end of the week pulls in guys who may not be regulars but who knock off work early on Friday and Saturdays.

When I danced in Houston, Friday day shift was usually good and the club was almost full, and after 10PM the clientele changed, and it wasn't worth staying. Sunday afternoons the guys who came in came to buy dances, and I almost always walked out with $250-$350 in 5 hours off of 2 guys.

In the small town clubs I work now the clubs don't open until 5, but almost all the older customers who spend come in between opening and 7, and are gone by 10. 2/3 of my money in these clubs is made early.

So early shifts are feasible, but you should check out the club volume, and try out clubs that have good volume and a low dancer to customer ratio everyday, not just at the end of the week.

Some places I worked would have you dance nearly 24 hours a day. To them, bathrooms, drinking fountains, breaks for refreshments, don't exist.
Get back up there, get going, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Fact of life when you start at lowest common denominator. Personal experience aside, I prefer to work nights. I much rather pay bills, do grocery shopping, take care of other business, banking, etc all at daytime.
Places where I have worked at night are the most compensating from the monetary point of view. Yeah, I prefer night time work. Although day time work is also available.

Days work well for me... Unless I know there is an event in town that will bring in costumers for the nightshift( fight, big concert etc...) I stick with days, Money is good and it's not as overwhelming.

I HATED days! It was sooo much slower...the customers are much older, so I couldn't play the music I like to play for my stage shows (I like really hard and fast music). It's true the older guys have the money, but I just never saw it from them. They like their regular girls..and I guess I just wasn't that good at hustling them. But, I'm more of a "turn and burn" girl anyway. I can't stand having regulars. I also found the older guys asked for extras a whole lot more than younger guys at night time do. And if the older guys discovered I wouldn't do that, I'd NEVER get another dance from them. Finally, when it got to the point where I was REALLY struggling to bring home $100 a shift, I switched to nights. I make better money, have more fun while I'm there because the energy is UP in the club, and my stages are SO much better (because I can play my music, and I'm not just dancing for a handful of customers).

The only negative to nights, is the schedule. But I'll put it up with it for the money...

^^Agreed. I prefer to turn and burn with the younger guys most of the time because of the reduced nasty factor. Most the old guys MIGHT buy more dances but they annoy the shit out of me in the process - asking for after hours 40 times and pushing the contact limits too friggin much. Irritating me to the point I start making less money due to stress. Gimme a club full of young boys to laphop with ANY day. I like nights.

Some clubs in NYC don't even have a day shift, unfortunately. It depends on the location and the club itself.I worked only days in AZ and did very well,in DC only nights,in NYC mixed shifts. The day hours are the best in my opinion, because you get out early, and it's not as crazy as nights. But it also depends on the dancer, some may do better at days, some better at nights.

I've been working a mix of day and night. The money is compararable, and the customers are a annoying no matter what age they are. I just have to come in for dayshift sometimes because after an entire day to think about it, I usually have too many excuses to not come in at night and money suffers.....

Ive been doing well on nights and days...I make about the same too. I only work 2 days a week; one night shift and then the next day day shift. Its tough (eventhough Im dragging my ass there the next day) but they both work well for me.
I dont like weekend nights b/c its too packed wall to wall people...people standing. I worked a friday night and said that was it for me..never again. I stand out better on a weekday night shift and during days better anyways.

Gotta try em all..days nights everything then youll know where and how much you can make.

Ok..question. So how would you be able to develp your own regulars? From what I noticed/heard regulars usually go toward the usually older (no offense to any of you girls) dancer, or the one who has been at the club for a pretty long time. So how can you learn to develop your regulars...without risking the 'DRAMA' of "stealing" someone's regular?

For me,,If the guy spends a lot of money and hints at the fact that he comes in alot or would come in to see me.. just set it up. I added a "business line" to my phone which is different from my personal number to give to customers who I find it in my best interest to keep in touch with. I'll call them and sweetly tell them when I'm working and how much I would just love to see them. There it is.... and I'm in my early 20's. I find that KEEPING a regular has more to do with conversation and personality. He can get a good dance from anywhere but he's spending his big money on you because he likes the quality of the time you spend together.
