Default New clubs......not just new to you

I have an audition for a new club this week, totally new- will be opening in beginning of July in Easton PA...I was wondering what your experiences were with new clubs.

Did you like it more since you were there from the start?

I have heard it can be slow in the beginning, how did you do money wise, and if you stuck around when did the money pick up?

The club is opening where a old club closed, so I people do know that its there already. It was a nude club byob, now it is going to be pasties with a full bar and kitchen. It was called Mirage and now will be C R Fannies. Bought by the people that own Spanky's in NJ and supposedly has been totally gutted and renovated.

    Thanks for your input!!!

Ah.... the club that fired me (I thank them for that now) did exactly the same thing.

The owners bought out the nightclub and strip club that used to occupy that same spot. You will get alot of "curious cats" for the first three months or so... people who are in there for the first time... word won't really start to "get around" for that length of time or longer... also you will get alot of patrons who are in there only due to the fact that they visited the other club when it was there......

Money will be what you make it... find out if this is the patron's first time in the new club or not. If it is their first time, work that angle .. ie "you might as well experience the whole place.. so then you can really know what this place is all about..." sort of thing.

Since the club is a lesser club (moved from nude to pasties not pasties to nude for instance) expect alot of the patrons of the former club to wander in.. expecting more.

Oh yeah... since it is a new club... the "growing pains" might be more or less depending on the management and the dancer manager(ess). I know I experienced ALOT of growning pains with that club. Rule changes and so forth almost once every 2 weeks or so.

Plus... for the first three months... the club is a baby.. it is trying to establish a reputation, image and identity.... in my opinion.. if you can last there for longer than 6 months.. it will pay off.

Mine had such good potential... shame the owners don't have a clue. I'm MUCH better off.

Mine was a case of working in it when it was new was best as business has dropped off now as people have "gotten to know" the club and realised they like one of the other (more established) clubs.

Its supposed to be opening July 8th, I figure that way I can get rid of the summer slow months at the same time as the new club slow months...I hope it works out

Anyone work an opening night? How was it? How was business the first week? I imagine if no one knows the club its there it will be really hard to make $
