anyone?
I know of someone who does massage therapy and yes supposedly it does temporarily take off a couple or a few inches. I am not sure if it is a maintenance thing or not. She made it sound like it's good to do before a big event like a wedding or trip -- I am not sure. I would have done it but this girl lives several hours from me and I sort of forgot about it. If you do it update on here, it's something I'd like to try on my thighs.
I think you're talking about . I haven't tried it. I'm skeptical of weight loss claims but for a photo shoot or something short-lived it might be good.
Yep, it's only a quick fix.. It's meant to help you fit into a fave dress on a big occasion, not a long term thing at all.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
The way they work is you lose some water wight. But your body needs that water weight to maintain health, otherwise you are risking serious conditions, including kidney stones.

Hey, I'm on this website right now, it seems pretty cool

Ive had a couple of body wraps and I did lose a inch or two which was great but it only lasted a few days. I would definately say go for it esp. if you do it before a big date or something.

Thanx alot... I figured it was a quick fix I was just wondering for how long? I'm going on vacation for a week and wanted to know if I did it would it last that long?

I did one and it only lasted for a week. But the key to keep it longer is going on a low sodium diet. All the extra sodium in your body will cause the effects to reverse. Drink alot of water too....I mean nothing but water. I lost about an inch all over....but the results really depend on the person. I was happy but I thought there would be more of a difference.
It was worth the quick fix though.

As a hairdresser for 15 years and working in a salon/spa....my opinion is that they dont really work and are temporary. They may be great to your skin and detoxify but I have never seen anything to prove different in the inch loss and cellulite ones. Only temporary results and they can be pretty costly.

Dreamer, where did you get this recipe from? I was online last night, and I found a couple others. If anyone wants the recipes let me know and I will PM them to ya.Originally Posted by BeautifulDreamer

My mother used this body wrap recipe all the time. In her dancing days she was always wrapping her body with saran wrap and plasti-wrap. There is a book you can buy at amazon that has a bunch of herbal body wraps in it. It's called The Herbal Home Spa or something like this. BTW, you can leave my Mother's wrap on for up to 2 hours and to make it work even better you can leave it on while you're under the shower. This will make it warmer and more invigorating - not too hot tho, cause ya don't want to burn your skin or shrivel it)!Originally Posted by cinammonkisses
