Jacko Jury hit on something, they (shock) didn't hang like i thought they would.
Fox says it should be read at 4:30 (though i have no idea what timezone's 4:30 that is).

I believe it's 4:45 EST (3:45 p.m. for us in Central). Couple of minutes to go!!
Look at all those COPS!!!
LOL! I'm looking at the family go thru the metal detectors now. Joe Jackson looks like a straight pimp.
OT: Michael Jackson has a great head of hair...
YAY!! TITO!!!
Madcap: Guilty or Not Guilty?
Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and say "guilty". It's supposed to be a great day for Virgos, LOL, and I don't really buy the evidence that has been given to the public (I think he has some psych issues) but you don't get accused of poking a 13-year-old cancer patient - or hold his hand like a lover - and get away with it.
Gosh, I can't believe I'm actually watching this. I haven't followed the whole trial and now I'm all caught up in the frenzy!! GO TITO!!
NOT GUILTY!
I've been saying it all along.
The jury agrees too.
WooT!!! "NOT Guilty" all across the board. All counts.

Clean sweep acquittal, just as I expected.
Former SCJ now in rehab.

soooooooooo
The celebration slumber party is going on this weekend at never never ranch,
who is going to send thier kids????
Anyone???
I knew he'd be found not guilty, but I think he is guilty and I think it's sick that now he can go around molesting little children for the rest of his life.
Sorry to any one that was an avid supporter of his, but I think it's disgusting that our society cares more about celebrities than children.
What a waste of money and time!
I feel like it's the same thing when a woman cries rape, she must be lying to get even with that poor man.
I'm llivid.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
The best advice for Mr. Jackson right now is, "Close your house off to kids. Period." I realize he's had the advice before. Maybe it'll take this time.
OJ. Blake. Jackson. Can a celebrity get convicted of a felony in LA?
Well Jay, I'm glad you were the first to say it! I was thinking OJ all the way. Why bother to even have a case?
I wouldn't let him in bed with my dogs let alone a child, but you know I don't let any grown men share my pets' or siblings' beds either, maybe it's just me, but I don't tihnk it's the right thing to do.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
I'm definitely suprised but the verdict makes sense if you consider the family's prior allegations, the inconsistencies, etc.. Reasonable doubt, people. That's our system. Celebrity or not, if the evidence doesn't fly, you can't convict someone (or you're not supposed to anyway). Edit: The burden was on the prosecution to prove he molested the kid and they failed miserably.
He might want to go ahead and close Neverland Ranch. I don't know if he molested the boy or not, but it'd behoove MJ to stay away from the youngstas from now on.

He's just an eccentric. I agree with the Not Guilty verdict. He probably could've "behaved" better around children so as to not bring any of this trouble to his door-step however he was always well intentioned. He wasn't a child molestor... I never believed he was... having the kids in his bed wasn't a sexual thing.. it was more like him forever trying to reclaim his long lost childhood (which never really happened).
Eccentric... not guilty. At the same time, if I was him.... he may be a free man however he is going to have to watch himself and his behaviour around children from now on. He may be found NOT GUILTY yet there are ALOT of people who have always felt he was GUILTY.
I'm with those who believe he is Not Guilty.

'Zactly, GCG. He never had a "real" childhood, was forced to grow up way too soon, and thrown into the spotlight without experiencing the right to be a child. He is trying to help children ENJOY their own childhoods because he was deprived of his.
I won't deny that he's freakish and very odd. But I've never believed for one second that he was guilty of laying one hand on a child. Don't judge him on his freakiness and automatically think that he is really guilty of the charges.
He has done HEAPS for children across the world. And what does he get in return? Accusations and people who automatically want to condemn him for his closeness and genuine love of children everywhere.
I'm satisfied with the verdict. I've said it all along.
Oh.. And to answer your question, BigGreen. Would I let my children stay at Neverland or spend any time alone with Michael? NO. I don't know him personally. Just because someone is in the public eye constantly, it does NOT mean that you know them. I wouldn't let ANYONE I don't know near my children, celebrity or not.

There's gonna be an orgy at Neverland tonight...
I really don't like the whole " reliving my childhood thing." IF it was any other person I honestly don't think they could use that plea. Is it fair to the children to confuse them in that way? I'm sorry but I care more about a child's future than someone who can remake his own life without having children in his bed.
I still think he's guilty, and it sucks that they weren't able to prove it everyone else. I know that the parents had some inconsistencies, but didn't Michael? Why are they the ones scrutinzied for them, but he wasn't so much.
Not trying to start a flame war, but I am disappointed, not surprised, but disappointed.
And Rhi, I am glad that you wouldn't let your children in his bed, I don't think any child shoulld think it's okay to sleep in a stranger's bed whether the person is a star or "family friend." Regardless of sex, it's a form of abuse to me because it confuses the child conciderably and no one should be messing with their childhood in that way even if his was less desirable.

When they first read the verdicts, I sat through the first two not guilties and then turned it. What bull hockey.
I can totally understand and respect your feelings about the case, Gypsy, and anyone else who believes he truly is guilty.
When I was referring the Michael not having a childhood and wanting to provide it for other children, I wasn't meaning that Michael is reliving his own childhood through the children. He's making sure they enjoy their own, and in return that's giving him happiness.
I just hope he can move on from this now. I will say that I do hope that he closes Neverland, and distances himself from close relationships with children in the future, just to prevent allegations such as this one, and the one back in 1993.
Hey Gypsy? I've been meaning to ask forever.. Is that you in your avatar?
I don't buy the whole "never had a childhood" thing a bit. Whether he molested THAT kid or not, the dude is just bizarre. Childhood or no childhood. There are people who REALLY never had a childhood that don't go around carving up their faces and bunkrolling the kiddies.
It's not my job to judge him, or to say he's this or that as far as criminality goes... but the signs are pretty obvious. I mean, WHO DOES THE THINGS HE ADMITS TO ON NATIONAL TV??? Got a cub scout troop handy? Lets have a slumber party! If Maralyn Manson was doing this shit people would be screaming to high heaven. Either he's a nutjob one way or he's a nutjob the other way. But he's still a nutjob, THAT much i can say. And his childhood matters not in that regard.
All that said, he was found innocent in a court of law. And that flakey mother's story held about as much water as a fishnet, and Snedding was grandstanding like a mo-fo... so all in all i think the Jury came to the right decision as they are supposed to do (A Jury isn't supposed to take anything other than the case at hand into consideration). THIS case didn't stand up to close scrutiny, so "Not Guilty" was the only verdict they could come to (Though i am suprised he got off on the booze bit).
Sooooooooooo: It might suck, depending on how you feel about what happened, but the system still worked. Houses of cards fall down.
Sad in a way that that grifter of a mommy is probably out right now shopping for a ghostwriter to "help" her write a future bestselling "Non-Fiction" (Meaning fiction) novel to get her payday anyway. Jackson is in tatters and she hit the jackpot months ago. So either way, she won. Might have made more ca$h of her inevitable book if he'd been convicted, but she still gets her pound of flesh.
Funny how things work like that sometimes.
Well, I really do hope that none of this will happen again whether or not the jury came to the right decision. Kids shouldn't have to go through any of this EVER.
And Rhi, no it's not me, it's Faruza Balk, I'm a huge fan and love the pic.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
There is just something uncomfortable about seeing your butt next to the words "Orgy at Neverland."Originally Posted by sol_de_pr2

BTW, if he does it again (assuming he did it at all) he can still be charged and found guilty. Double jeopardy only extends to this case, he can't be tried for THIS again (thank god, Cali already wasted 4 mil on this house of cards), not that he can never be tried for anything like it again.
Heck yea it is Faruza. She don't know it yet, but she is gonna be my wife.Originally Posted by gypsy_girlchild
