    Default What I Have Learned. . .

After visiting this place for the past 2 months I would like to thank you all for ending my facination with strip clubs. I used to wonder why I felt so depressed the next morning after visiting a SC. After reading these threads i now know why.

They are a place where disfunctional people gather to play games with each other.

The girls all seem to dislike men in general (and the customers in particular.)
While the guys who frequent them often, have problems with relationships with women in real life and need the fantasy environment to make them feel better.

It's an expensive therapy session, but i guess it fills a void. . .

Good luck to u gals and guys, and keep on keepin' on

I agree. SC (USC) is a depressing place.

Our culture is all about dysfunctional fake bullshit and games. I do see certain dependancies in this arena, but then again I'm living next door in a very fragile glass house of my own. Get down with the sickness has a certain appeal. Or from the good book, "judge not, lest ye be judged."

Besides, dysfunctional people are more fun. Those Anthony Robbins types and their blinding teeth are a fucking headache.

I think you mean the married girls.....

I'm thinking of converting to Custianity as the anti-robbins faith. Instant gratification is the primary tenet of Custianity.

When is Custmas this year? I hate the Custmas shopping rush.

Well I guess if you are a negative dysfunctional type you could look at it that way.

SC's do fill a void for many but it's a different void for different folks and we are not all (customer or dancer) dysfunctional. In fact, the vast majority of us are perfectly normal. For customers, its entertainment, that's all. Anyone who treats it as anything else is making too much of it and will find nothing but trouble. As for dancers, it's a job. A job that, in addition to all of the everyday obstacles that accompany working for a living, also has it's own additional set of particular hurdles to deal with.

The strip club environment is like real life on steroids. Most of what goes on in an SC goes on in the real world as well-be it business or interpersonal-just at a much more accelerated level.

I don't think that it was proper of you to put down our choices of jobs or our places of employment. If you no longer want to go to a club, then don't go. It's that easy!!

We don't all hate men, just ones with biased opinions like yours.

Men that have trouble dealing with women. The poor saps. That's gotta be like no more than 99.99% of men, max.

LOL! Nah, we don't all hate men. Maybe some. But then, some civilian women hate men too. But, we do despise insecure boys who try to put us down in attempts to make themselves feel better. Bystander.

What is it with all these guys that have such vapid and dogmatic views of what they think a SC is. Plus the people that work there. You ( Bystander mostly ) really DO need to get out more and stop staying in that cave you must be living in. or either take those blinders off you have grafted into the side of your head..

If you can't be honest with us, at least be honest with yourself, Bystander. You still don't have a clue, admit it.

Of all things to get depressed about, Strip Club have GOT to be someplace near the bottom of the list. You know, what with a WAR on and all... There's got to be REAL stuff that is depressing, dude. Find some of that to waste your time agonizing over while studying internet websites in minute detail. Guys who get depressed about Strip Clubs probably don't date very often, and get bummed after paying for attention.

You'll run into those types, sure. But then you'll run into those types at the Mall, the singles bar, the local coffee house, etc... etc...

WOW! Just like the guys who get "depressed' after visiting the SC! There are those of us that just don't really take it all that seriously. You'll run into guys who have problems with relationships with women in real life, sure. But then you'll run into those types at the Mall, the singles bar, the local coffee house, etc... etc...

Well, my wife and I happen to love going to strip clubs!!! Most of the time she enjoys it more than me!!! We have a great relationship and SC's are just another form of entertainment before we head home for some amazing sex after being all worked up after the SC. As for the dancers: sure some are cracked up prostitutes but there are alot of awesome people that work there to make some serious cash for themselves. I know accountants who dance...real estate agents who dance etc... Every aspect of life will have every type of person involved with it. By the way: I'm a doctor!!! Nothing fucked up about that my friend...good luck in your future endeavors.

    You have to remember:

    1. It's not real, it's fantasy

    2. You're not going to find a girlfriend or romantic opportunity (99.9% of the time)

    3. It's a very expensive hobby

I've probably missed a few other points. Anyway, if you keep the above in mind it can be fun and a nice diversion from the real world.

It's all about the GOOD TIME for me, it has nothing to do with that other CRAP you talked about. Watching naked women dance on the poles, having a lap dance or 5 and a drink or 10. Nothing more, nothing less!

Let's see, $20 a dance? 5 dances @ $20? Or maybe an occasional VIP? Expensive therapy? You must know some real cheap therapists.

Seriously, I suppose going to SCs may be a form of therapy for some, for a variety of possible reasons. It started out as therapy of sorts for me, and turned out to be much better than any antidepressant. But the 'therapy' part of it ended quickly. Now I go because I really like many of the women I've met (which seems to be the case for most of the "regulars" I've seen). That may (and does) get to be expensive, but so do many things that make you feel good. Sure, there may be disappointments if you get emotionally involved, but the last I heard that happens in RL too. And if you can manage not to get emotionally involved (which, admittedly, may take some effort), the SC alternative universe can be great fun, and isn't fattening.

So, if you don't like it, save your money. Stay home. But don't lecture the rest of us. Bye By.

5 dances at $20 = $100, assume each dance is ~3 minutes and we are at roughly 15 minutes. Or $400/hour.

You must know some damned expensive therapists if you think $400/hour is 'cheap'.

i've learned that the women at these places are the perfect cure for a broken spirit.

after hearing no from all the women in normal life. hearing yes reguardless of the source. can be enough to restore someones faith in humanity and remind you that
    life is worth living.

What diving girl said...^^^ Just a microcosm for the entire human species more or less... Some people are better at hiding their dysfunction than others. Others serve theirs up on a platter.

Apparently, you haven't been to a concert or sporting event in your lifetime. I've seen 6$ for a bottle of WATER.

Dude - really. If you're complaining about the cost of BEER, we won't miss you, either here or the club. You've made what, 3 posts? Why do we care if you leave?
So, thanks for stopping by and judging us, and good luck in the rest of your strip clubless life.
