This is actually a pretty good thread IMO. A couple of the comments were dangerously close to personal attacks but it is a topic that can rile up posters, both dancers and customers. I'd like to keep it open both from a general and personal perspective as long as everyone behaves.
Customers often leave clubs or even strip clubbing altogether, disillusioned and feeling empty. The fact that they should "know better" is beside the point. May I site a personal experience? I started clubbing back in the late '90's. I was travelling a lot to Indianapolis on business and wound up visiting some clubs at the invitation of business associates. Long story short, I got way too involved with a dancer I met there. I spent a ton of money on her...probably $20K over the course of about a year or so. She was good at what she did and I was a very very willing participate ITC and OTC (details are in the archives on the Blue Site just as a side note). Things finally crashed and burned and I wound up being the epitomy of disillusioned. It took a 9 month hiatus to at least semi get my shit back together. It was a tough lesson learned (fortunately I could afford it) but ultimately I'm better off because I now better understand the fantasy and the dancers I associate with don't have to deal with a guy going over the edge.
Sorry about being long winded but every once in a while a topic hits close to home.
