If you sit on the lap of a black man, your going to turn off the rednecks in the room, and vice versa.
If your in carolina and sit on the lap of an indian..
if your in texas and sit on the lap of a mexican...
If your in cali and sit on the lap of a crip..(heheheh)
Sit on the lap of a construction worker, chances are,the suits wont want you sitting on them.
Yea I know it aint PC,its just life.

Sitting on a lap in an open room like that sends many messages out to the people who are watching, and most of the messages are NOT good for our money IMO.

Sit on one lap in the room, gonna hafta sit on them all.
"how come you wont sit on my lap and talk, you sat on his"?

If you sit on a custies lap for 10 mins, why would he want tp PAY for a lapdance for 3 mins??
He is getting just as much play for free, even more.

To alot of guys,if your sitting on some guys lap, that means your "Taken".For alot of guys, that means for the night at least, and you lose the chance at a lapdance from them,or a struggle to get one.

But,as I have said about the lapsitters,I have seen many freekin bank at it,so what the hell do I know.(I know one thing,ALL the lapsitters I have known who bank at lapsitting, they were ALL the best looking females in the room, not the ugly ones.)
What a bunch of horseshit. If a racist hater fuck gets angry that I am sitting in the lap of someone of another shade, they can go get lapdances from Toothless Tracey.

Sometimes a lap is good, sometimes its best to sit across. I also prefer to sit across, but if he wants me in his lap, that's the way its going to happen. Watch the hustlers in your club, and you will see them sitting in plenty of laps (if allowed). It gets you in much faster for the kill.

Thumbs down Re: Sitting on laps

In my opinion only a cheapo or a sleezball with a big ego would offer a seat on his lap, and usually both are a waste of time............Even our DJ jokingly commented on how we should charge for sitting on laps, after watching a girl sit on a guys lap forever the other night.

If they like you that much and have a little money they would just get a dance.......And although it may score you a dance, randomly plopping down on laps.......Men enjoy eye contact too, it helps them feel special.

So unless he's spending money on you sit in a chair!

For the most part,a large portion of everything I say is just that!!!

If a racist hater fuck gets angry that I am sitting in the lap of someone of another shade, they can go get lapdances from Toothless Tracey.
    This looks worthy of discussion.

<<ducks into phone booth to put on his flame retarded suit>>>>

I dont want to start a racial thread,im gonna try to broach this topic, about this thread, and how it pertains to what we do imo.

First off,I have worked with woc, who's highest paying customers were members of the KKK.
Hows that for mind fuck at work ladies???The guys didnt hide the fact, and the dancers couldnt hide the fact.
And the girls laughed all the way to the bank.

Inside the walls, its a different world.
We dont take applications for lapdances,we take cash and plastic, and sometimes GC's.

Everything in the real world is multiplied inside the walls of a strip club,or at the very least"hightened".
(Very offensive imo,but gonna toss it out for the sake of discussion)
    Ever heard the expression
"once you go black, you cant come back"??

It doesnt have to be about race either, thats just the one that always sticks out more in white dominated customer based clubs.(most US clubs IMO)
It could be where the military crowd thats in that night, might see you getting to close to the local hippies,or some guy in a suit see's you sitting on the lap of a biker,or some preppie sees you on the lap of a ruff neck.

    Everything is multiplied inside.
Where the dancers may or may not be racist, one helluva lotta your customers ARE!!!
    And they are watching!
The show starts the moment you step out of your car in the parking lot and doesnt end till your driving away.
lol I cringe everytime a dancer comes to work with her hair in curlers, footed PJ's and her boyfriends WWF tee shirt on,and have to walk by a line of custies trying to get in!lololol
(no way any of you here are guilty of that, its those other girls im talking about)
The point im trying to make is,you are being watched, know it or not,ALL night long.

(another bad expression, imo tasteless.Gonna toss it up for the sake of the discussion.)

    Ever heard the term..

    "sloppy seconds"???

You might not be thinking along those lines ladies, but the MEN that are your customer base are.
(yea yea i know custies, tell me how wrong I am,yea right!)
Even the good custies, when the girls are not around, revert back into some highschool locker room lingo in the dj booth, its really pretty funny actually.

Its the same thing like when ya walk into a night club and your holding your boyfriends hand or you have your arm around him,it sends a message.
Just like when ya sit side by side in the same booth at a restaurant, its that "signal"that is sent out.
I dont know what to call it,im sure there is a word for it,just dont know what it is.
    Its that "taken"thing.
If your a lapsitter, doing it may cost you more money then you will ever know about.

There are many reasons why i dont agree with lapsitting, this is just one of them.
Its not because im being racist or picking on preppies or bikers, its because im looking at every angle stopping the money flow, however small it may or may not be.I think this one is a big one.

Sitting on a lap in a lapdance club is like baskin robbins spoonin out free samples.
Nothing is free in our world,to include your time, and specially the feel of your ass on a mans lap.
Im glad it wasnt allowed at the showbars I worked at but could care less if it happens at the small local hangout clubs i worked at.I dont have an explination why, sorry,I just think its different.

Its just my opinion, but on the main floor,in plain view of the crowd, the most a dancer should ever do is shake hands, maybe a valley girl smooch/hug hello for a reg, thats it.
Handle your business in private in the vip room with the meter running IMO.

Turning a guy on isnt rocket sceince, you already have top of the line proven tools,( . Y . )'s-n-(_!_),why guys say "no"to a lapdance requires more thought and im just tossin out ideas on different angles.
    No offense intended.
Sometimes a lap is good, sometimes its best to sit across. I also prefer to sit across, but if he wants me in his lap, that's the way its going to happen. Watch the hustlers in your club, and you will see them sitting in plenty of laps (if allowed). It gets you in much faster for the kill.
And after all that,I still agree, some girls have that power.
The top 5% of our girls could sit and pee and the guys would still buy a lapdance.
So what the hell do I know???

You've made a lot of good points BigGreen. I'm too lazy to quote you right now.

Some clubs don't allow lapsititng at all. I'm totally down with that.

Some clubs however, have lapdances in the main show area, all over the place, even in front of the stage. This is pretty much the case in Texas. SO...chances are, a guy I approach has already seen me give another guy near him a dance. Lapsitting makes no difference at this point.

If there aren't any free chairs in a packed club, where does dancer sit? On the table?

So a dancer who gives pretty hot dances can continue to be in demand. BUT, I do prefer to take custy to the most private areas we have. Unfortunately, when the club is full, that isn't always possible.

I agree 100,000% with you regarding looking nice when you come to the club. I always do my makeup and hair at home and wear something cas but cute, like jeans and tank..very tight of course.

The racism issue is more complicated...I guess I'm pretty spoiled working in an egalitarian city like Austin. But I also never heard any complaints in New Orleans or Florida or Houston, which are have a bit more racial strife. I guess I'm not paying attention. Oh well.....

If they sit in my lap it can mean they are expecting big money. As a player I like to get to know them a little bit first.

I don't think that you should need to sit in anyones lap, they make to much out of it,and may try to harass you.

You are right... I was at a club one night and ran into a girl who was dancing there who I couldn't stand all through school (we were neighbors and she was uber-annoying). She (unfortunately) spotted me and came to sit down on my lap with the boniest ass I have ever seen, felt or thought about! It was awful because I didn't want to be mean. Just an all around bad situation.

Sorry for the ramblings... so, in short I advise against it....strongly! I don't know about men's laps, but my legs start to lose feeling!!
