Even though it is extremely politically incorrect to say so, 'post colonial' Africa has been handed somewhere near a 1/2 trillion dollars in cumulative 'Western' aid ... which has actually resulted in living conditions today which are far worse than when those countries were colonies ! As your article points out, a primary reason for this is the 'morality' of African leaders and their policies ... which include but are not limited to intentional genocide, war/jihad, intentional starvation, ejection of descendants of white colonial settlers, embezzlement, and pure unadulterated waste.
Most of the cash that goes over there winds up lining the pockets of dictators who keep their people in prehistoric conditions while they surf the net and drink Merlot. It's sad, but the way of it. No way would i send money to Africa to line some dustballer tinpot dictator's pockets. No way.
Send it to the red cross, instead. At least they DO something for average Africans, and often risk their lives to do so against said tinpots, att.
