I was wondering what music do you notice that custumers really throw the money out for? Is there a certain song that you notice you make especially more to while on stage?

I dont' think its really necessarily a song, but more how many drinks they've got in them, whether they are ready to tip and have a good time and if they are enjoying the atmosphere. Music doesn't really have a whole lot to do with it, I think.

To grill a good steak, you start with a choice cut of beef,on that, im sure we all agree.
But for the beef to say the Weber and the Kingsford charcoal had nothing to do with it,well, thats just silly imo.Saying that runs the risk of offending them, not to mention the mesqeet<sp> or the match it took to light them all.
If someone thinks thier meat is good enough to stand on thier own, serve it up raw at your next picnic,or get on stage and dance without the music.
I double dog dare ya!!!!
Im sure the reaction from the crowds will be the same at both gatherings.
Thru history, basically people dance for 3 primary reasons..
To make war
for sex
or to pray to thier gods.
Most times,in most instances, its always with a soundtrack.
If someone thinks they can do what we do without music,I would love to see it.
Again...

I think it depends on stage presence. You can dance to an awesome tune but if you're chewing gum and walking around the pole like a bored motherfucker, hardly anyone will be interested in you.
To get attention, you should (a) choose an awesome tune and (b) make sure it's one that suits you well i.e. one that doesn't bore you and will help you to exude the type of energy that is a crowd pleaser.
Your choice of music will depend on you mood, but it will also depend on your audience. I have several faves that I love dancing to that are different styles and even from different decades. It really helps when you have more of a certain crowd in the room.

I do pay homeage to the music gods Big Green.. you should know me better than that! I'm just saying that where I am located, it doesn't matter... maybe I should have clarified a bit...
Quite honestly sometimes I used to think I could get up there to just about anything, and it didn't really matter... but for me personally, I always had to have the music I felt comfortable with to dance to, there is just some stuff that works and some that doesn't.
I've seen where in bigger places, yes, the music does matter..

I agree with Gynger.
Music in a strip club is friggin' white noise to me...and to some of the dancers, for that matter. It's practically a formality.
