Smiley In Vegas In Two Weeks:

    Hi, All!

In two weeks I will be going to Vegas for a week for vacation and thinking of working one or two nites just for extra play money. I work at a high end club now in NC and would like to know of any clubs in Vegas where I may earn some quick cash.

And also, what is the State law there? NC here is 6 inches. I can't wait to go. I so, need this vacation.

You'll need to get hired at a club first then get a sheiriffs card and business liscense. It's $35 for the first and you'll need 2 forms of id if you're over 25 and a birth certificate if you're 25 or younger. The Latter is $100 per year. You are allowed to dance on a customers lap and he's allowed to touch "non sexual" areas ie your tummy, kness, etc. Good luck!

Thank very much for the reply. Is there any waiting time once I get my sheriff and business license or can I work that same day?

You can work immediately after obtaining them. Check out stripclubreview.com. they have some useful info in the dancers corner. However the address for the police department is incorrect. The club you audition at will give you the right location and should give you some paperwork because you need to prove you've been hired somewhere before the police dept. will issue you a shieriffs card. They'll do a full criminal background check as well as finger printing so if you have any fellony charges or have been arrested for prostitution you cannot work.

Remember, after you get your required paperwork you can audition anywhere. Most clubs don't even put you on stage, they just give you the look over. Cheetahs is an old favorite and Spearmint Rhino is still a hot spot. Olympic Gardens is kinda ghetto but it never seems to lose it's popularity and there's no schedule so you can come and go as you please.

    Have fun!

Don't look at Vegas as "quick" money. If you are only going to be there for one week, it will take you one night to go to a club and get your referral slip for a Sheriffs Card. If the manager that night doesn't feel like dealing with any girls, it may take longer.

Next it will cost you $45 for a Sheriffs Card, and $100 for your business license and will take you a good part of a day to get them.

Now you are out $145 before you even start work, and if you don't have a car, will have to pay high cab fares to get to the club(s) for your referral slips, sheriff card, and the county office where you get the business license is a good 10 miles from where you get your Sheriff's card.

Plus it is summer, and the clubs are EXTREMELY slow now. The weekends will draw the regular Vegas visitors from Arizona, Utah, and Southern California, but there are still alot of girls working there now, many whom have moved to Vegas, and you may find more girls than customers most of the time you work except for a few peak hours on Friday and Saturday nights. There is a good chance of paying more to work than you sell in dances under these conditions.

Just keep all of that in mind when considering working on your vacation there. It may be better going to several clubs as a customer to get a feel of things, and then going back during the prime season, which is November to late March as far as trying to work is concerned.

yes I agree about vegas not being logical for a quick money 1 or 2 night thing.....it is a big mission to get all your paper work the first time....well worth it if you will be coming back again though. Jan, Feb, and March, and april kick ass in vegas. late sept, oct, may and june not bad either. It is July, Aug, early september, thanksgiving, and most of December that is bad. There is a rodeo in Dec that is pretty good, christmas and new years but the rest of December no good. Right after thanksgiving very bad too. I keep a log of what I make and jot down notes to refer back to later....Even during bad months I always seem to do okay somehow though....vegas is cool like that. One guy will come in and save my whole month. July is when the world series of poker finals takes place......last year I got lucky and made like $2900 off one of those impulsive spender guys....500 poker chips in hand.
A gorgeous hotel alternative in Vegas for dancers only!
