Thumbs up Huzzah! Renfair returns-Bristol, WI

Can't wait for this coming wk end. I will be there on opening day with my home made wreath made of fresh herbs & flowers. My jasmine & lavendar is in bloom, so that will be part of it, along w/the fresh rosemary. Hopefully I will get some better pics this year

Heck yea - I love ren fairs!

It sucks so bad to walk through those gates back into the "real" world with all the uniformity (all the cars look the same, everyone dresses the same, etc.) after so much inventiveness and such in the fair grounds.

I'll go to one of these someday. Look like a lot of fun & a couple of my co-workers told me all about them. I jokingly told them I never thought of going before since my race didn't exist before the Renissance. LOL!

I liked the fair before it became so popular. Now I won't go because I hate being crammed in like sardines with the other few million people who are loving the place. :tear:

What VG said. They're too crowded these days. I have a big problem with crowds.. I don't do well.

Yes, dears, I agree about the crowds. What I do is, go on opening day, get there right b/4 it opens, stay a coupl hrs. snap pics & leave. I just bought today a cute dark brown gauze skirt. I have an off the shoulder white gauze top. It's just so rare that I can actually get out of the house.

I have 3 ren faire outfits;SO 1 killer one; also got an adorable one for my little boy. Went to the NC ren faire (April one) and had a blast, but I can't wait for the one in Concord in oct-nov 'cause it's tons better. All about that. I'll post some pics asap; you gotta see my man and my little man; it's adorable!
