    Default C-Section Scar

Hey guys! I haven't been here posting in a long time. I just had a baby on December 23.

I'm ready to go back to work. I've worked out and I believe I am physically fit! Yeaaa! But, I have this big C-Section scar on my belly. Should I wear panties to cover it up? Do guys really care about that? Does anyone dance with any visible scars? Does that makeup stuff work to cover it up?

Congrats on your little one! Where is the scar located? Mine is on my panty line. Guys usually don't notice it. I had one guy say that he knew I had a baby because of the scar, but that still didn't deter him. I also danced with scars on my breasts from having an areola reduction, and most people didn't notice those, either. I sometimes used Dermablend to cover the scars on my breasts, but it glows in the blacklight! It works okay, but not all that great. I have seen quite a few other girls with large or multiple noticeable scars and they do fine. Thankfully, most guys don't mind.

I'm a driver out of Boston. We have 5 or 6 lovely mommy's dancing for us that have C-section scars. Some more visible than others. In general it's not an issue for the men. The girls say when it does come up, it makes for good conversation. Some girls play it up with comments like "Yup, still nice and tight for you..." , some work the "MILF" stereo type, but I don't really like that term, especially used by dancers. others end up showing pictures of the kids after they finish dancing, and find they get repeat requests from those clients.

I'd say don't think about it, and go for it..

I have scars all over the place, none from having kids, but one that looks like a C-section scar, and another that is 7 inches long. The red lights in the club wash them out. If a customer does notice, it's no big deal to tell them why. Everyone has scars. No one is perfect.

Congrats on the baby! That's great news.

Scars really aren't a problem. Like people have already said, mostly everyone has them somewhere. I had scars even before the first of my 2 C-Sections. They didn't hurt my earnings before the 1st C-Section, and didn't hurt them afterwards. Most didn't even notice. Before it faded, though, I did cover it up (it was easy to cover it anyway, I worked in a Bikini Club). When I felt more comfortable and it had faded, I stopped worrying about it.

If you're worried about it and would feel more comfortable covering it up for now, you can use Dermablend, or Revlon's Colorstay. Both work great and it won't come off until you want it off.

Where was your incision made? I'm asking because both of mine were very low, not even on my stomach really. It's also very small. When I had my second C-Section, my wonderful OB removed the first scar and left me with only the latest one. He couldn't go through the first scar, because turns out that was TOO low.. So he had to go above the first one.

Was it a routine or emergency C-Section?

Hey guys, Thanks So Much. Talked to my agency today and I'm going to be doing some topless waitressing for the meantime. (I'm too scared to show everything just yet!) There are a lot of "new" girls that want to get into the "business" and my manager wants me to show them the ropes. I get paid and everything. Pretty damn cool huh?

My incision was a "bikini" cut so it doesn't really show at all. It's just really pink and doesn't look like it's been there really long. I don't want custys knowing that I "just had my son." It was a emergency C-Section. My baby boy was 8lbs. I couldn't push him out because my pelvic structure is too tight, his umbilical cord was short and wrapped around his legs, his oxygen was on the line everytime I had a contraction. So I ended up with a C-section.

Okay, so it sounds like you're almost good to go--it's really cool that you were able to get this job for the time being.

I have a scar of that type. I didn't have a pregnacy but I had a tumor removed. It is below my pubic line and about three and 1/2 inches long. I have danced nude for a while since I had it. I wore a chain belt that totally hid the scar, I didn't use make-up on it or anything. If anyone noticed, nobody said anything and it was never an issue.

You have nothing to worry about.
