I believe my good friend was drugged at a strip bar, credit cards were run up, forged signatures, no memory of the evening etc. Is this common or is he crazy?

I think he just got drunk. Yes it could happen but someone forging a signature on a bar tab is unlikely. All he would have to do is call his credit card company and dispute it. Assholes do it all the time, especially if the've been obnoxious and asked to leave the club.

Nah, he just had a really good time lmao. Oh, and as for the signatures..thats what alchohol will do to ya..Originally Posted by billie

It's not out of the realm of possibility, but if you apply Occam's Razor to it: He just got a little too drunk.
Yes, but Occam's Razor is of no use when you're the one disputing a hefty credit card bill.Originally Posted by Madcap

Is it common at a strip club to get so drunk that you don't remember why your bank account is empty?
Yes.![]()

I've felt drugged several times while dancing...
but, I never had the "typical" drugged side effects...
I think it's easy to feel that way.
Although it's not impossible for to it have happened to him...
Just because he is a man I wouldn't rule it out.
But he would had been VERY noticable if he were on drugs..
I think it was a simple black-out.
some people have them even when they don't drink alot.

Right, some stripper took the time to pick this guy out of a whole bunch of other people, who by the way she could of gone a totally different route and been much more successful..
Not to mention the friendly waitress or bartender who of course is suspect as well. Please.
Of course, I'm sure your friend would of NEVER gone to a strip club, gotten drunk by his own free will, spent tons of cash and had a roaring good time on his own. It's all the evil stripper and her co-horts that are out to steal cash.. oh wait, forgeries, on a credit card receipt. Not that a drunken scrawl would ever look like someone else signed his name.. HEAVENS NO!
No Way, I'm sure that the evil stripper type person ( don't forget the waitress and the bartender too! ) was seriously out to get your friend, yes thats it. We plot these sorts of scams all the time and for you individuals that can't tell. YES! I am being sarcastic.
In the clubs I work at ONLY the bartender touches the credit card for a cash advance and each time she does, she must have the customers ID and credit card in hand at the same time as the customer stands there. She does NOT accept it from anyone else.
If it is for drinks a server hands it over and then ONLY for the drinks that the server orders, the server and dancers get no part of this money unless at tip is added for the server.
Some clubs even ask for a thumb print if it is a cash advance. It is VERY difficult for anyone to cheat the customer unless it is a for a tip for the bartender or server and that would show up quite obvious if it was a huge tip.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

Too bad he doesn't remember anything. All the evidence point to him having one hell of a night!!![]()

I've been trying to find a place where I could get drugged and have someone forge charges on my credit cards. Thanks for the tip!Originally Posted by Crow

Thanks for your opinions.
well, as some have said in your other thread, you .... *ahem*... "your friend" may have been slipped something, but it is highly unlikely. Go easy on the alcohol and you may go easy on your credit card bill also... although, in a SC, that's highly unlikely![]()

This is why my cards stay at home on strip club runs!

I know we have an owner or two that read the forum, maybe they can tell everyone what the chargeback from the credit card company is???
Some clubs hover around 25%!!!!!!!
Thats fuckin insane!!!!!!
That means 1 in every 4 custies that use a credit card, wakes up the next day and says"i was drugged".
Im not saying that this is the case with your friend, but you gotta see the viewpoint from the industry.
The cost isnt swallowed by the clubs, its spread out to the dancers themselves.
Im gonna shut up now about it and let the dancers in different clubs tell you what percent of credit card gift certificates they have to pay for the club.
Many girls lose money when you pay with a credit card.
Bring cash,or go to the ATM.
I know many clubs that take a thumb print or make a copy of the custies ID before they will even consider taking a credit card for adult services!
Credit in this industry is being paid for on the backs of the dancers!!!!
Gah, I hate when customers pay with the card. We lose 1 out of every 10 dollas (10 out of every 100) on that. Not too bad I guess, but still...
I had a customer, last year, who got extremly drunk and bought multiple champaigne rooms with me and one other girl. The bar eventually cut him off and was nice enough to keep reminding him--you're drunk! are you sure you want to buy more?
Needless to say, I had a good monetary night.
But a week later he called in and said he was drugged, taken advantage of, his card stolen and used, bla bla bla.
What a pain.

I've seen many customers so drunk that they have no control over their credit cards or cash.
I highly doubt a dancer can and would do that. I danced, bartended, was a ticket girl, and managed at my club. The only people allowed to touch a credit card was the bartender and ticket girl. Also, we had to read over everything.... ex. "you are charging $275 to you Visa card for a 30 minute VIP with (enter stage name here). Do you understand? If so, sign." I don't know if other clubs work that way but that's how we did it at Scarlett's. Many times they would say yes.
Also, are you sure your friend wasn't just extremely drunk that he signed sloppily? I've seen that happen before and it can look like a forged signature when sober.

This why I don't drink at SC's. I want to remember everything!
I stopped using credit cards in clubs when I discoverd that a fav of mine was losing 15% when I paid for or time together on a CC. Not to mention the 10% surcharge that the club was adding to my bill. Bring cash, leave the cards at home.

The really bad thing is,I know alot of clubs that would make the dancer pay that money back!!!!Originally Posted by Helle
Hows that for fucked up!!!
A dancer has a great money night, then has to give it all back the next week.
Most times(from the times I have seen)the money is always long gone.
The dancer gets uber pissed.
Some leave and dont come back.
Some pay an extra 5-10 dollars per lapdance to pay it all off over a few weeks.
Either way,one out of every 4 guys who use a card is fucking the industry and the dancers.
I say ban them or only let them be used in the atm's with passcodes.
20% on cash advance from a card!
The bar doesn't even kiss ya first!

Seriously, going to a club is like going to the gambling boats--You take what cash you can afford to spend, and that is it. When it is gone, go home! Why you would want "Joe's Titty Bar" on your credit statement? Why woudl you want to pay unbelievavle ATM fees or cash advance fees?
In my opinion, this is just another example of an immature person who acted irresponsiblily and now does not want to face the consequences. People like this are IMO one of the biggest problems in the world today!
As to the original question, if you were drugged, you would know it. Your hangover would not have been a "normal" hangover, yo uwuld have felt like you were dying! (Don't ask me how I know)

Yeah. My club is pretty cool and were just pretty much like 'well fuck' about it. I asked them if I was going to have to pay or whatever, and they said 'no, don't worry about it, just don't ever sit with him anymore'.Originally Posted by BigGreenMnM

I also have the feeling he doesn't even remember who I am. He asked my name last night and introduced himself. I was like 'wow'.
Men should NOT get that drunk with money in their pocket! Haha.
It's not that we're offended; it's that we know--dancers and SCJs alike--that there are plenty of PLs/RILs around who will drop obscene amounts of money in clubs with skilled dancers that suffer buyer's remorse afterward. We're all PLs sometimes...I obviously offended many of you with my suspicions on behalf of my friend being slipped something. Just because they're a clueless customer doesn't mean malice or malevolence was involved on the part of the dancers or the staff.
