    Default Scars/Birthmarks

    Hello all!

I'm new here, just found the site. I want to get into dancing, I'm 18 and mullatto.
However, I do have a large, dark birthmark on the back of my thigh. Like, 3 inches wide, 5 inches long. Plus, I have 3 minor scars from self injury(I've stopped now, thank god). Anyway, I was wondering if you all have scars/marks and how you hide them. Does it really make much of a difference if your body/face are good?
Don't think this was already posted, but sorry if it is!

You'll be fine. You may get a few curious questions but as long as you're not self concious about it no one will care. Sometimes trying to cover an "imperfection" just draws more attention to it.

I was wondering the same thing, maybe you could try using dermablend. I have a big mole on my cheek and always wanted to hide it just in case i run into someone i know or thinks i look familar, i know they will be looking for my mole, lol, so making it disappear temporarily would be great. Anyone else use dermablend to cover a mole??? i've really never used dermablend period.

I use Dermablend sometimes--and it glows under blacklight! A lot of girls like Revlon Coverblend.

Thanks for the advice. I will try dermablend, I think.

I have a rather large birthmark on my forehead. I use a skin lightening lotion that really fades it out, then most makeup seems to work.

I use This stick on the birthmark and under my eyes:

Then this as an overall foundation:

    Followed by this loose powder:

ANd not many people have ever known I even HAVE the birthmark, unless I tell them.

If you feel that you need to cover up...

Last night at my club this girl wore white thigh-highs (long ones nearly reached her butt cheeks), a white thong, and a really nice white bra. She was the only one with lace nylons, and she got so much attention and everyone was like 'damn, that lingere girl is smokin hot' - loads of men like the thigh-high / garter look.

If you wore lace thigh-highs / stayups nobody would be able to notice the BM, right? Just remember if you wear garters you gotta wear your undies on top, not beneath, the garters...

I have a pretty large mark myself but it ends up being a coversation piece. I don't mind and really that is one of the last thing a guy is looking at.
