    Hello Ladies

First off, yall are awesome and adorably cute...

Second, I've always wanted to dance.... problem: No self-confidence. When I was i Jr High the "pretty girls" made fun of me alot for being "fat". Despite the fact that when our class had to form a human pyramid I was a base and could hold them up, and was the top in our school for push-ups/sit-ups in a two minute timed trial, and in 9th grade could do 410lbs on the leg press, I believed them, and gave up, and gained like 20 lbs a year for awhile. My max was 210 ... When I found out I weighed 10lbs more then this chick I thought was fat, I ran to the gym... I wasn't fat either... I just have a large butt... Bubble butt... like J-Los... perfectly curvy, perfectly with its own zip code b/c it is never close to me...

I know 210 seems like alot... and it was, but I was still a size 14/15. She was a 20... so I have a lot of muscle... to be honest, I'm not sure how I'd ever get down to 135 even... None of my friends can believe I weigh what I do, there is a joke about me mayne having ate a dense peice of stardust as some point in my life.

I haven't really worked on losing weight in awhile, and want to again. I'd give anything to do what you ladies do... even if I'm a bit larger... I don't care if I have to open my own damn club...

I am 190lbs now, and a (please don't run to your toilet and vomit or be grossed out, and if you do... please don't tell me... I need to BUILD my confidence... ) 42-36-42. '(36/D) I'm shooting to be 'healthy'... so a low body fat percentage... (which is the best indicator of what you should weigh, and you can't argue with that). I'm at a 31% which according to is Acceptable.

I'm going for more like 21%.

Does anybody know how to boost metabolism? Thats my real problem I think, I have an incredibly slow metabolism... I know drink more water, more coffee, and to use more thyme... Ephedra works REALLY well for me, but is impossible to get anymore... Excersise more then never... but not too much b/c then when you stop, your body will be used to absorbing the calories from working out, and you'll gain a whole lotta weight...

I'm also blessed to have no belly... Well, i have the tubby belly, but under the belly, where the cervix is when your pregnant, I have nothing... perfectly flat...

Hmmm... I tend to talk to much... sorry.

Mainly I think I'll be hanging out here a bit to remind me that I want to lose the weight and to do this... It may take awhile... but I might as well learn a bit along the way...

I model now, none of the pics are on my website... since I use that on my resume right now, and they're all XxX Bondage and the like...

I know there are guys who like people of all sizes, but I will not be one of the ones so large that people go in to make fun of them... I want 3 things to giggle... my ass, and my right and left boobs, Timmy and Lewis.

You can boost your metabolism by working out, eating 5-6 small meals throughout the day, cutting flour and sugar, and drinking green tea.

hi, i have the same problem, low self-confidencen because of teasing in jr high. however, i'm already dancing and have been for 8 mionths. forvthe metabolism, if you can't get ephedrine, try caffeine diet pills, and alays staying active, even if its not when working out. By the way, even f you are bigger than the other girls, you can still be a great dancer/hustler. the top earner in my club is much bigger than all the other girls.

Default Weight loss to start dancing

Okay, to lose the weight is really hard and getting yourself focused is going to be important. Yes it is a good idea to read here a lot to keep yourself motivated, also read at other forums that focus on getting in shape and losing weight. Spend time reading magazines like Shape, Fitness Rx, Oxygen and other health and fitness magazines for tips hints and tricks to keep your progress moving in the right direction and to prevent boredom in your exercise routine and diet.

I also wanted to make you aware that you live in an area that dancing also involves a lot of extras, on par with Houston or San Francisco. If you are comfortable with that kind of atmosphere, cool. But I did want to give you a heads up.

I see a lot of Seattle area dancers in Portland and Montana because extras are not as readily available in these areas (they are always available, it just costs a lot more in these locations), so the dancers can still make a decent living without having to cross lines they aren't comfortable with.

One last thing: To quickly lose body fat while dieting include interval training twice a day for 20 minutes, six days a week. This is what competition body builders do to get ultra lean before competiton. Interval training is hard, it is painful, and I hate doing it. But it also works very very well. Stay away from caffine and ephedra and the like as it is bad for your heart and can cause hypertension. Caffine actually will inhibit fat burning, not help it. If you must have caffine try drinking green tea, as it is known to increase metaoblisim. Also eat more hot and spicy foods like hot peppers, ginger and curry dishes, as the spices help to increase metabolism. there are a bazillion different diets out there, but I really like South Beach and Body For Life for balanced and do-able eating plans. I don't feel hungry when following these plans, and that really is what causes us to over eat in the first place.

Good luck and I'll see you on the Diet and exercise forums!

    XOXO Paris Love
