    Default hows VEGAS really?

hey peeps, im still ponderin, after a year or two strippin here, the idea of movin home to my ski town in the mountains. think i could fly to vegas like one week a month and make big bucks, then have 3 weeks off back home? i'm an exotic foreign girl and many tell me id bank. (Im an awesome hustler too) tho im all nude now i wouldnt have a problem being all covered up in a topless place i guess. ive heard cheetahs is best and that the rich guys in vegas prefer topless places over nude. but ive also heard there your stage dance is where you make big bux. now most of mine is from lap dances. my stage dance sux basically but im so cute here it dont matter. check out my pix and give me some feedback.

You make your $$ with lap dances and private rooms in Vegas, you're rarely on stage. I've never danced nude before but the biggest and most popular clubs in Vegas are topless. Last I heard Cheetah's offers $10 laps, I could be wrong but I'm not willing to put my services on sale. I worked at Spearmint Rhino and I think I'll check out Olympic Garden on my next trip.

You've been misinformed about Vegas. You're in Dallas, right? Vegas is not about stage AT ALL. In the big clubs you are working with as many or more girls than customers. It's not really about rich customers either.

Many girls don't even make their house fees back during slow times. It can be decent during conventions and between Mid-October and the end of March Madness with some horrible weeks mixed in.

Dances are where the money is. Guys turn their backs on stage an if you go up once a night that is a lot. Many girls pay $20 to stay off stage.

Vegas is high hustle and it is not uncommon to have a girl at every table making it hard to approach customers.

I don't think a week a month would come close to what you can make at home. You can have some good nights, but it is high hustle, and the customers have so many girls to choose from, it takes great selling skills to talk them into buying from you.

Rumors always get things twisted. Cheetah's only has $10 dances during the day, and that is only for table dances. It goes to show that what one hears is oftentimes faaar from the truth.

I said I could be wrong... I did make the mistake of not checking a convention schedule before planning a trip and I was dissappointed with the money I made that week, but I never had a problem making my house fee.

I'm a house dancer in Dallas and I had a girl (not a feature) tell me that she makes about 3k per night (Friday and Saturday night) when she goes to Vegas... She said "You don't get dollar bills on the stage, they slip you $100 dollar bills"

I was blown away. How in the world do these girls do it??? And where are they going???

it depends on the girl... if youre the best hustler in your club in whatever town ur in then u come to vegas youre at the bottom of the food chain ...every girl in vegas is the best hustler in the club from whatever town shes from... now just imagine competing with 100-200 versions of "you" everynight....could you survive... some girls can handle the competition and step up their game and do EXTREMELY well other girls get chewed up spit out and sent home... youll have to deal with theives liars girls doing extra full contact dances etc some girls from certain towns just arent used to that

100 dollar bills on stage...Lol!! Yeah right!! Just to give u perspective this week working went like this- 300$, 60$, 1,500$, 450$, 220$- Now that is a fairly good week but look at the range... Vegas is inconsistent point blank. If u can take the good with the bad and each time u have a shitty night think about what u could've done differently to make more $$$ working in Vegas is a great learning experience. But if you are looking for consistency look elsewhere.

This girl is flat-out full of shit. It IS possible to make that much, but it happens very, very rarely through a combination of beauty, good hustling and LUCK.

My biggest night in Vegas was $1,400 and typically I averaged $500 a night. I've met girls that do make closer to $1K a night and many, many more that make quite a bit less.

LOL from a custy's POV, take the worst that you've heard about Vegas and multiply by a 100 to get a true feel for the place.

A lot of it will depend on whether they're going for specific events (conventions, fight nights, etc.) or if they're going there for medium-to-long term.

$3K/night on a weekend is not out of the question, but also highly extreme. I used to say to dancers in Vegas that I knew, who made a goal of making $1K/night, "All you have to do is find 10 guys like me. How hard can that be?" Well, even in a target-rich environment like Las Vegas, it's harder than you'd think.

CSV65 - Have you really had consistently bad times in Vegas? I had one horrible incident about six years ago (involving me, a VIP room, and wayyyyy too much hard liquor), but I attributed that to the club and the dancer, not to Vegas in general. The good times for me have far outweighed the bad.

Well that's relieving... I was thinking "Hey it's time to go to Vegas!!" but if the average is about 500/night, I might as well stay in Dallas!

This girl must have been full of shit. She's not even very pretty!

after reading through various threads all day today i have learnt that Vegas is a place for travellers to dance ONLY if they are going there anyway (and not to stay long)

if the sole intentions to go to America are:
1 ) to make good average money
2 ) seeing as much of the country as possible

and you are not carmen electra/pamela anderson (yet still not beaten with an ugly stick)

then go for the middle class clubs? is this right?

Excuse me while I pick myself up off the floor from laughing so hard after reading this......Wow and I thought I heard bullshit before....I lived and danced in Vegas for 3 years full time. That quite possibly may be the biggest lie I've heard. No, it's not raining hundred dollar bills there....shit that's funny.
You can make some money there but will work your ass off for it. It's a town for serious hustlers. Otherwise it will chew you up and spit you out.

I've never received a $100 onstage anywhere and I do a good show.

In Vegas, a dancer is lucky to make $5 a stage set, its just what you have to do, and get it over with quickly so you can return to VIP hustling!!!

EXACTLY!!! I used to pay the extra $$$ to stay OFF stage. It's a waste in Vegas, no money in stage shows there. Guys come there for good laps and VIPS....thinking they'll get something better or different than they get back home.

Getting hired is a pain in the ass too. It is frustrating to keep going to clubs and being told no, try next month, try Vinnie's shift, come back tomorrow, I already hired 4 girls today, and so on. That is my experience I just don't have the time to keep going back to clubs. They have so many dancers that they can nit pick And especially for a woman of color, they can hire at their whim.

I don't measure a city by working during a convention or event. A city must be measured by a 5-6 day week, 48 weeks per year. A dancer who is successful in making a LIVING, and working towards FINANCIAL GAIN in this business needs to be in a place where they can work year round and have CONSISTENTLY GOOD earnings.

A $1000 plus night is not the norm. Take the girl who posted above who had a $1500 night following a $60 one. The next week if the $1500 night is replaced with a $100 one, how good will her week be? And you have to push the customers harder to sell them in Vegas because of so much competition, and that gets tiring night after night. No matter how good your selling skills are, if the customer count is low, and the RIGHT TYPES OF CUSTOMERS are not in the club, money will suck. I walked in Crazy Horse Too one summer day and there were NO customers and chair after chair of girls. Yet these are the same girls who never make under $500. What a crock of shit.

Too many girls talk about great nights and those are the girls who hardly work and who ARE NOT FULL TIME DANCERS. Minimizing the bad nights along with treating this like an 8-5 office job, is what separates girls who gain something from dancing and those who leave this business broke.

As a regular visitor to Las Vegas clubs I have observed a number of constants:

    - The medium-end to high-end topless clubs are filled with beautiful, sexy dancers who have their game down cold. An out-of-town dancer may be hot poo at her club, but I've talked with and bought dances from many beautiful out-of-towners who were very disappointed with their first visit to LV.

    - These clubs are fairly high contact. I don't know what the extra's scene is like, but the customers will expect to touch everything but boobs and cooch on the main floor. In the VIP room, most customers will expect a little more. I'm sure some customers will expect a lot more. Hands on lap dances (the customer’s hands) are the norm in LV.

That said, I have known a number of out-of-towners who do well, but they work very hard and are very good at what they do. If you do give LV a shot, be careful to not go there with unreasonable expectations.

I dance in Vegas full time....I use to fly out here and work for a week or two then fly back to Florida. I eventually moved out here.

I never go on stage. In the big clubs, especially, you are just wallpaper. There is too much stimuli around (girls walking by, high energy in the club, etc) Unless a stage act is absolutely over the top spectacular most guys hardley notice in Vegas. I have observed this with CH2 and spearmint Rhino...others may be different

In my honest opinion girl coming from out of town stand to do very well coming for a week or so if planned well. Choose a busy time and get on a good shift at a better club. I always did extremely well when I use to fly in b/c I was very very motivated. Knowing I had a lot of overhead (hotel etc) and that I went through all the trouble to get to vegas was motivation enough for me. I would absolutely clean house when I'd fly in. Now I still do well but finding the motivation isn't as easy when u live here in my opinion.

Living full time dancing in Vegas and coming into town every so often to work are two totally different worlds. Once you live there it loses all its mystery and gets boring fast. I wanted to move there for 10 years then after I finally did in 3 years I was burned out on Vegas. It's best saved as a great vacation or place to have a second home. Living and dancing there full time is not that great at all.

Vegas is a very ethnically diverse place, so "exotic and foreign" girls aren't as exotic as they would be a lot of other places. This seems esspecially true in the more middle to downscale clubs like Cheetah's and OG.

    (Im an awesome hustler too)
    You'll need to be.

ive heard cheetahs is best and that the rich guys in vegas prefer topless places over nude.
Amongst the nameworthy clubs, Cheetah's is probably near the bottom of the ladder. Men go there purely for the mileage expectations.

The topless places are considered superior because they can sell alcohol and because they look considerably more upscale. The nude places, all of which look scuzzy from the outside (I've never actually bothered to venture in) are strictly juice only. No BYOB like you see some other places.

To be truthful, I'm not really certain there are a lot of rich guys in Vegas aside from the casino moguls. Its a very blue collar town in fact once you get past the glitz of the strip.

but ive also heard there your stage dance is where you make big bux. now most of mine is from lap dances.
Nada. In fact in some of the clubs (and Cheetah's would fit this to a tee), customers can't even see the stage if they're not sitting at it. 99% of your money will come from dances or VIPs.
