To be a showgirl you have to be a seriously trained dancer with experience. There are ALOT of girls audtioning for those positions which are fewer than in the past when Las Vegas was still glamorous.
If you are a serious dancer then try audtioning. It's a very exhausting job and the pay is decent but it's not as much as you might think.
I lived and stripped there for 3 years full time and know a few girls who worked in the shows at the Tropicana and Bally's.

For these shows you must be professionally trained. The money is certainly not comprable to stripping but if you have a passion for dance and enough training it is fun. Or you could do both!
