    Default Summer Recipes

I'm looking for some easy yummy summer recipes. I love to cook but lately it's been too hot to turn on the stove or grill. So far I've got a great gazpacho and hummus recipes but I need more! I know I could check out some cooking websites but you ladies seem to have so many talents I though I'd see what's shaking in your kitchens...

Look up raw recipes and you'll find great stuff that doesn't require any heat at all.

But if you are willing to brave a little extra heat, this is what's for dinner at my house!

Too hot to grill? WTF? If it weren't for the fact that I refuse to let Scorpio open the patio door in the middle of winter, he'd be grilling then, too.

Grill up a bunch of chicken breasts...slice them up and use them cold on salads... Nummy...

Fruit salads are also great summertime eating!! Egg salads...Making sandwich wraps using tortillas and lunchmeat with lettuce and tomatos...mmmmm...

    I'm hungry now...

I make large batches of chicken and salmon this time of year. I like the idea of wraps. Why can't I ever think of something as easy as that? Anybody know how to make ceviche?

    get one 16 oz bowl.

    Add Corn Flakes
    Add 6 oz. of milk.

    Spoon into mouth.

    Repeat until finished.

    Wash bowl and spoon.

I second what Venus suggested. Grill up a bunch of chicken. You can use it in so many ways! Chicken salad is my fave (that is, salad.. with chicken, and the other kind too).

I don't know of many people that actually cook indoors during the Summer I don't think. Hahaha
