Default Grifters, Con Artists & Players

Whether it be a dancer or customer or x-boyfriend or x-girfriend or relative or acquaintance, what are some true stories you know where someone(or yourself) was victimized? ...i was watching "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" and "The Grifters" and became curious.
"Peter, did you take Stewie to a strip-club? He smells like sweat and fear." - Lois and Stewie (Family Guy) ... "Through early morning fog I see, Visions of the things to be, The pains that are withheld for me, I realize and I can see..."

lol I swear they all cut thier teeth on strippers before trying anything on the general public!!!!
Grifters, feeders, con artist, players, and drug dealers are drawn to this industry like flies to shit and come in many forms, oddly enough, they all seem to smell like shit to me and i can spot them a mile away, regardless of the friendly discuises.
Most of our girls are 18-25 with more cash money in thier hands then they know what to do with, and usually more then they have ever seen, they make easy targets for the good looking, smooth talking feeders of this industry.
All you can do is point it out, they gotta learn on thier own.

I was going to start a thread on this topic, but titled "How To Spot..." But first, yeah, of course, for years it seemed like I had "suckerchump" tattooed on my head. So I have met plenty of these people. I'm related to a few even.
The three comforting things I can say about being victimized by these types is: 1) you weren't the first, you won't be the last, 2) if you don't have it in you to get them back, don't worry, they will cross someone down the road who WILL give them what they deserve, and 3) they better pray for a chance to make amends, because I have seem some horrifying bad karma paid back on people- things I wouldn't wish on anyone. (Hint- if you cross someone bad enough for them to wish harm on you, it will probably happen.)

OK, my thoughts on how to avoid sh*theels-
    * If they agree with you on anything & everything. Not natural. Too eager to please? They want something from you.
*Always a sob story right off the bat. Usually exaggerated or made up. For sympathy or attention. (EX: One dancer had the nerve to claim she had a brain tumor- she stole that story from a nice dancer who really had a brain tumor and was let go due to the condition.)
*Touchy-feely. Anyone who doesn't respect your personal space at a proper pace is trying to ingratiate themselves.
*Watch their body language. Weird flourishes, changes in posture or other tics conceal falsehoods, eye movements are telling...sociopathic people often have quick expressions (quick-minded.) (The most evil stunt I have witnessed is crocodile tears while invoking a good woman's death...the MF-er..)
Sadly, sometimes we find out that people we judged as wonderful and deserving of love are truly f*cking animals that you would not piss on fire to put out. I think God does this for laughs, so roll with the punches. And hey, even Jesus got betrayed by Judas.

Well, I am pretty cynical. I *think* the only time I got ripped off was when a couple of young guys came up to my apartment selling newspaper subscriptions. I paid em 40 bucks cash and got one newspaper out of it. Then it hit me, they probably stole the newspaper out of a newspaper machine. I bet they got some Friday night party money at that apartment complex.
