    Default The dreaded Stripper Butt

Yeah, I know this has been discussed before, but I wanna know if anyone has any new ideas for getting rid of zits on ass!! Over the years I have tried exfoliating, creams, bodyscrubs. Nothing seems to work and I always have zits on my ass. WTF??? Is this just something I'm stuck with??? I tended to have a few zits on the ass before I danced, so I'm prone there anyway. But since I've danced it's been worse.

    Anybody know?

Have you tried acne treatments made for the face? I would think products with salicylic acid in them would help.

Maybe you could try one of the following...

    Good luck!

The thing that worked best for me was changing clubs. I think there is a difference depending on how clean they keep the stage. Failing that, what would be the best thing would be to A) wax instead of shave. Shaving is irritating and B) clean your ass directly after being on the stage using rubbing alcohol, peroxide etc. and C) don't sit directly on the chairs. If you don't use a wrap/scrap whatever to sit on, start.

How often do the waitresses or anyone wash the stage and pole? That maybe a problem. When I danced at deja vu the floor was dirty alot and made me itchy. They started cleaning it more often. Sometimes it may not be you just the stage.

But if it is you then maybe proactive on your butt would help?

Anything with tea tree oil could help.

Try using a toner after you get out of the shower. Sometime (as you well know, I guess) soap just won't cut it.

I rub on Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment after I get out of the shower before I head to work. It worked for the longest time but now I seem to get one giant cystic pimple on an ass cheek when I get close to my period. I don't really worry about how it looks, it's just a red bump and under stage lights you can't see it. But damn it hurts! I'm thinking about bringing those old skool acne treatment pads with me to work and swabbing my butt cheeks with it when I get off stage. I'm guessing it's hormanl though so I may be sol.

the stage and pole is only half the problem!

If you wear short dresses, you are sitting on the gross chairs and couches with your bare cheeks. then add in dances and the random ass grab here and there and it's no wonder the stripper butt is covered with dirt and oil.

I've been using baby wipes with seabreeze or witch hazel on them (I just pour as much as I can in the box and keep them in my locker.) I do get the occasional zit on my ass or back or arms, but they are less frequent.

Weird. I just finished a 6 month fight with this. I tried everything, even ordered Proactiv for my ass. (It didn't work on my ass, so I started using it on my face. Works there!) Finally, I went to the doctor. He doesn't know what I do, so it was a little awkward bending over shaven and pierced. In any case, he said it was infected hair follicles. Even though I don't shave my cheeks, they get pulled out during dances. After a week on antibiotics, they're gone.

I agree with Emily... I try to sit on napkins (we have cloth ones)... If not try to remeber to bring something with you and just drag it around... It really makes a big difference.

Emily what does witch hazel smell like? Do you just pour the solution into the bottom of the babywipes tub?

I haven't had this prob (knock on wood), but when a co-worker did, I suggested she try asprin scrubs (worked for me when I had a major breakout earlier - got the tip from here, actually). Pure salicylic acid. Hers were gone within 2-3 days.

Tea Tree Oil works as well.

Try using a little Neosporin on your butt cheeks. BTW, Neosporin has
a new product out that can help soften and get rid of butt
bumps and acne scars. It's called Neosporin Scar Solution. It comes with Silicone Scar sheets that you press on your butt.

I would say salicylic acid too. I rub my TendSkin on my bum (contains acetasalicylic acid, used for my pussy bumps. It's pretty versatile) and it works against the spots.

umm, i definitely would not use Neosporin. it is way too thick, waxy, and oily, it would probably cause more breakouts

I get these every night I work. I'll go to work zit-free, and within an hour I start getting the little red bumps. SO when I get home, I wipe my butt with cotton balls soaked in toner, and I sleep naked. This clears them up right away...but then as soon as I'm back at work, they reappear. If they get too red during my shift, I'll put a little concealer or foundation on them.

Well it's definitely not unique to any stage or club for me, I've danced in a ton of places and it's always been like this. I do get itchy rash breakouts on inside of my knees when starting a new club (reaction to new pole) but that goes away in a few weeks and it's not zits, it's a rash.

I've ordered some of the above recommended acne stuff and will try wiping down with witch hazel at work.

Amethyst: Asprin scrubs?? What is that?

Thanks all for the tips! Hopefully my stripper butt will be improving soon!

If there's a big, red, ouchy one, I'll use Visine on it. It tones down the redness and dries up the skin so you can get concealer on it.

I hope this makes you laugh- the last time I got a big bump on my butt, I covered it with a band-aid (germ-a-phobia.) Sadly, due to it being in the space where my buttcheek and my leg meet, my sweat glued the band-aid in place and I ripped skin off when I tried to pull the band-aid off. Ladies, never do this to yourself.

My suggestions (old school goodies) the lathering agent in many soaps can clog pores, so why not try alternative cleansers, like Ivory 99% Pure Soap, Dr. Bronner's Castille Soap, or Pears Glycerin......and use the good old scrub brush + loofah on your nalgas (buttocks.) Stop wearing underwear (or do the thong thing) and wear more skirts and looser pants so air can circulate. Denim is suffocating, especially in the summer.

I bought a huge tub of Target brand hypoallergenic baby wipes, into which I dumped a bottle of Clean & Clear toner w/salicylic acid (purple bottle). I have sensitive skin, so I've been using them to freshen up after stages and vip sessions. The toner is scented, but it isn't unpleasant, and evaporates quickly. I also have some undoctored wipes for the more delicate areas.

A light coating of hypoallergenic Desitin on my rashes cleared them up overnight, and these wipes have kept them away. Hope this helps someone!

I use antibacterial soap in the shower whenever I get home from work, exercise, or any other activity that might have left sweat or bacteria on my ass. I also use toner once or twice a day, benxoyl peroxide on any blemishes that arise, and a moisturizer made by clean and clear that has salicylic acid in it (it fights zits while keeping your skin from getting dry and flaky). I also tan once or twice a week, which for some reason helps as well. I had pimples on my ass since puberty, and using this combination of treatments is all that has worked for me.

It still happens every now and then to me but ever since i started spraying Bath & Body Works body spray on my ass and bikini area throughout the night and especially after dances, it happens rarely. I know that some men can not go home smelling like perfume, so use sparingly, but it does work I swear by it.

When I get zits on my ass, after a night at work I shower and treat the zit/s with neosporin. IN morning with most cases, the inflamation is gone, and sometimes zits diappear overnight. That is soemtimes. Even when I get little bumps on my knees from floorwork I put Neosporin on my knee and it helps to clear up the problem. I dontsuggestsmearing it all over the skin but for little problem areas it works great for me.

I have a zit on my butt for the first time since I started dancing a year ago! I've used the advice here and have been putting witch hazel on it after work. I think it's a sign I need to work less. It doesn't show up under the lights at work but it really embarrasses me and makes me self-conscious.
