This is similar to the thread from the dancer who would walk away from money, but I am not burned out. I just seem to get to a place in my shift where I am just too tired, and my body starts aching and I just can't feel ambitious enough to keep hustling.
I think part of the problem is that at many of the clubs I work at the shifts are very long (8-10 hours) and the clubs mostly don't get busy until 11pm or later. So I've already been working my ass off for 5-6 hours when a decent amount of business finally walks in the door. I've tried just chillin' for the first 2-4 hours when it is slow, but it really goes against my nature. I also look at it as if I am not working very hard the whole time I might really be missing out on some good money. I also can't help but think what if it doesn't get busy at all tonight?? So I work hard the whole time I am there.
Unfortunately I get to a point at about 6 hours in where my body starts hurting and I have to just slow down, thereby leaving money in the guys pockets that I know I could have gotten if I had more energy.
I already do my best to eat right, get plenty of sleep, exercise, and I don't drink or do drugs. If there are other tricks out there that I don't know about any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, XOXOXXX Paris Love

. I never really learned to pace myself, and If I don't start making money as soon as I get to work, then I work even harder. I don't feel comfortable enough to just chill until I am at about half of my nightly goal, then I feel okay enough to relax a bit if it is still early in my shift. I actually had a night like that tonight, and it helped me to keep going strong until closing tonight.
