    Default Singing at work...

How many dancers here sing-along to their songs while on stage?

Will you sing at the table?

I'm a guy who DOES sing along when I like a song (I have a decent voice and I'm on-key)--would you sing with me if you knew the song?

Does it annoy you when a customer sings?

As long as they don't make longing sex faces while singing, and it isn't too loud..I'll sing or hum a song I like quietly, but I can't sing well to save my life.

Off the stage - fine. But on the stage? I HATE it when dancers lip-sync to a song they're dancing to on stage. It looks incredibly stupid and unsexy.

A girl I know at work does this and although I really like her, she pulls the most unattractive faces when she does this!!!

^^ i agree about the lip synching (although, I'll admit, I suffered from this as a newb - until I caught a look at myself doing it in the mirror, lol)

The only time I'll lipsync in stage is if the words are appropriately sexy and a customer is tipping
-for example, I synched INXS's "I need you tonight, cause I'm not sleeping..." as I crawled up to a tipper. I think that can be cute, but do NOT, i repeat, DO NOT, sing the entire song on stage.. for the love of god!

I sing when my song is in Japanese and there are Japanese customers. Makes them think/know I speak the language and gets me dances later.
