I never heard lack of confidence in your threads. You just seem like a realist. You like your body and probably like to show it?
But you realize it might not be what the world is looking for.
I personally like a girl that like tos show. to me it is her attitude more than her size
within reason

Wow this thread is a rollercoaster! I want to dance, but I'm 5'10" and 150. I used to be anorexic, so I'm kind of proud that I have an ass and D cup tits now.
I know it's not much, but I was recently at this club in NOLA with an ex-stripper friend of mine. I was totally put off by all the skinny women they had there. I mean, I'm not going to give you my hard earned $30 on a lap dance if your breasts don't even bounce.
Then we saw this dancer with these thick thighs and this ass that just didn't stop. We spent a lot of money on her that night. God, she was gorgeous.
Well, just my two cents as a former bean pole.
actually Im more tired of girls coming to clubs, who dont belong there and then they complain when no one goes to their stage and well basically they wasted a set some other girl could have been on.

Stage shows are a very small percentage of a dancers earnings… If you’re in a busy club, dancers are making more money of dances then on stage.
Therefore Amy, you have nothing to be tiered about… Besides, not all skinny girls have rhythm and not all large girls are unattractive.

Right...if you are waiting to go on stage to be making your money, you are missing out. Top earners like to be on stage as little as possible.
Hi Girlie,
I think you should listen to plaingirl. But first post pics so everyone can get a better picture of wether or not you really need to lose weight. It could all be in your head. There are plus size women who look fine for their size. The key to losing weight is first changing whats in your head first. If you change the way you think about food, your body and your self esteem it will be the force that will drive you through any weight loss program. You must diet and excercise with moderation and keep the faith. Do it for self!
Someone here said something about losing weight through dancing. Why don't you take a class on stripping/pole dancing or something...that could be a form of excercise.
Just don't give up!

You know what's a waste of space? Egomaniacs with no compassion who feel as though an overweight dancer is a personal insult.
I agree that this is, ideally, a business for the fit, but the reality is that there are many, many far from perfect women dancing in clubs all over this country. And there are still people in those clubs. Regardless of your personal opinion, that's the reality.
And I am also tired of women asking if they are too fat to strip. That is a question that can be answered with a quick look in the mirror and a trip to a few local clubs for comparison.
I am locking and cleaning this thread since it has wandered so far off topic.
