Default 31 to old to start?

Im sure this question has been asked many times but I would like a honest answer Im 31 my pic is abt 4 months ago so thats pretty much how I look (although Im sure a body shot would help get a better idea of how I look). Im just worried that when I finally get the balls to go to a club they will look at me and say Im too old .
I really want to dance but it seems like everyone that dances is in their early 20's.

Yep. that's me. I had my boobs done last October, and I am very happy with the resluts. Incidentially I started dancing when I was almost 29, so the boobs is a new thing for me.

I've been here all day!! I need to get off this damn computer and do something else for a while. Enjoy the website here at stripperweb. There is a lot of very valuable info here, and you can get a good idea of what kind of club scene is available in your area over in Club Chat.

Why the hell not? If you look a certain way (which you do) then dont worry about it. Its only if you are 31 and look like your 60. You look great so why not go for it? We are only here on this earth for one time only so why not give it a try?

One of my favorites is 34, and has only been dancing a year.

I agree ! Age really doesn't matter as long as you take care of yourself.
Besides your picture is fucking HOT ! I say go for it !

If you feel comfortable then go for it! If you dont feel confident with your age, just lie, the custys will not know the difference. Some clubs in the uk are funny about taking older dancers, not sure what its like in the US but when Im thinking of working in a club, I always go in first with my b/f or male friend as a custy just to check it out. Dont stress if there are bits of your body you are self concious of. We are all the same, no bodys perfect we all have hang ups, just make sure when you start work you have a costume you feel fabulous in that shows your good bits and hides the not so good bits. After nearly four years in this business Ive learned that we dont all have to look like Pamala Anderson to make money. Men love women full stop! Just be confident, be yourself and just keep smiling and Im sure youll be fine. Good Luck!
PS you look fab in your pic!

I just started at 26 and felt like you! Until I saw women waay older in the club. Of course you will see plenty of 19 year olds, but I really think that experience and assertiveness will take you a long way with many high paying custys. GO FOR IT.

I've seen older women with bodies that would embarrass 18 year old dancers. It's the physical fitness of the body that attracts me. Two years ago at a show in Indiana, I saw Amber Lynn (former porn star), who had to have been 40 something. I was far away, so the only thing I could notice was her body, and to me, she did not age at all.

i just started and i'm 26. i know it's 5 years younger, but i was a little worried too. another girl i'm working with is 28 and just started... i don't think it matters too much as long as you're in shape, but it probably depends on the club. most of the girls you're working with will probably be between 18 and their early twenties though. i'd say about 3/4ths of the girls at my club are under 25.

31 is not old...lol. It's not even "older" for dancers. You'll be fine.

I first danced at 32. I felt a little old, especially at one club I tried where everyone seemed to be barely 18, but no one seemed to care. In fact, the first time I danced guys would ask how old I was and I'd try to get them to guess and they were never close. The hardest part I had I guess was the hustle. I have a pretty decent day job where if I work hard and am busy I can make good money but I wanted something to do for extra money when I'm slow that pays well. So far it's felt like the stripping money I had to work a lot harder to make even less. I think when you start out younger you don't have as many opportunities to make good money so it's easier to put up with the hustle.

I have known some women in their thirties who were so comfortable with their sexuality, and knew how to work it so well, that they "brought more to the table" than any ten 19 year olds. It's time to climb up on those heels!

41.. now.. maybe you can legitmately ask the question... 31.. alot of dancers are still dancing!

I have also personally known of dancers that are near my age (27) and in their thirties who are killing it over the silly 18-23 year olds. The maturity really is a major turn on and alot of "older" customers won't feel so weird buying from you compared to a 18-23 year old (who is probably younger or around the same age as their daughter!).....

ESPECIALLY if you look after yourself

    Go for it

The girls who on average earn the most are over 30. The target customers like older dancers because they have more in common with them. Since when was being age 31 old? I'm 5 years older than you, and I work with dancers all the time my age and older many of whom run circles around the younger girls.

Smokers and party girls age faster than those who don't. Stay away from that tobacco, and keep in shape, and you may have a good 10 years or more.

Seriously, you could do it. You'd make a ton. You don't know how many people have older women fantasies that I enjoy rather often...

You have a really elegent look about you like paris, play that, tho if you can portray to your PL <*ahem*me*ahem*> that you treat your patrons like your sob hubby, :d you could make some serious coin. You seem to have an attitude that attracts loyalty.. just my opinion.

ACTUALLY, It'll probably help more if you DONT have those.

Like I said, just my opinion.

Younger is certainly not necessarily better in this business. In fact, most of the research I've done has shown that the top income earners are usually 28 or older. There are many reasons why...for starters, being more mature means you can have a much better quality of conversation with your customer. Assuming most of the men in your club are your age or older, you will also have a much stronger advantage of gaining rapport with your customer over someone ten years younger than you. Lastly, think of it from this perspective. To a customer who is only 45, you are sexy as hell at 31 whereas a dancer who is 21 is old enough to be his daughter. On some levels this can be a turn-on for some guys, but many guys are turned off by this because he's looking at the younger woman much the same way someone might look at his daughter and that can really creep out some guys.
