From a strictly legal standpoint, under the Patriot Act you're supposed to obtain a work visa in order to legally work anywhere in US territory. However, clubs in Guam have a reputation of being, shall we say, less than attentive towards small legal details like that. Of course, clubs which are less than attentive to legal details like the Patriot Act also tend to be less than attentive to other laws such as prostitution.

Would be difficult at best to get a working visa for stripping. It would still have to be a US visa since Guam is a US property, and we all know how hard it is to get a US work visa as a stripper!

Frankly, I'd say it's probably not worth the bother in your case. If you want to visit the US later and don't want to risk having an overstay in Guam screw up chances of getting another US tourist visa, considering what I keep reading about income potential and contact levels in Guam strip clubs, I wouldn't bother. 15 days wouldn't be long enough to make the trip worth it IMO, and if you overstay you just might not get a US entrance visa anytime soon!

If you still want to visit Guam AND the US, I'd suggest hitting the states FIRST, then go for Guam later. That way if you decide to overstay you've already been stateside and know whether you want to be able to come back or not...

Also have you viewed the past threads on working in Guam on this board?
There was an extensive discussion that the club business depends on a cruise ship docking,
or a US Navy ship, or other allied warship coking there for supplies or repair at the navy shipyard. When none were around it was described to me as being fairly slow.
However two cruise ships, plus a couple of airline tours and it was quite busy.

Sigh* read that "docking there" not coking there.

I'm an Australian and have extensively researched Guam as a possible place to work as I was seriously considering going for the 3 month contract.

The thing is... once you are deported due to over-staying.. you have f--ked your chances to stay in the US. You have to weight that up - is it worth the risk of possibly never being able to holiday in the US ever again (or for quite some time anyway).

What I have heard is that they are more stringent on foreigners (attractive females) coming from Japan to Guam than Australia to Guam. Either way, you will need to send your stripper gear via mail to a place so you can pick it up when you get there. Also, dress down.. daggy even... so you won't attract too much attention that way. Then in your suitcase have holiday gear: full brief bikinis, wraps, and so forth. Do not have anything remotely stripper-like in your suitcase.

Plus.. Guam is only worth it when the ships are in port - be it navy or a cruise ship. Definately not worth it during their monsoon season - stay away.

Personally, I didn't want to wreck my chances to visit the US mainland or even Hawaii in the future... plus the fact that I would have to mail my stripper gear off to a location I have never been to before worried me as what if my stuff never showed up (got lost in the mail)... then the fact that you kinda are jumping thru hoops to work there.

Oh yeah.. stay at a hotel or other accommodation so as to not bring any added attention to you.

In the end, whilst it may be a lovely country, I didn't feel it would be worth it for me.
