    Hi Ya All!

    Okay I need to pick your guys brain I took a break from dancing and now weigh 165 I need to get back to my dancers body lol so I want to drop at least 30 pounds in about a months time or two even but in one month I am going back to work and going on a strict diet and I am stuck between cardio I do the elp. machine at my gym but should I just jog on the treadmill and outside when its nice???

    Help!!! My diet is very good I am a good diet and eat small meals and drink tons and tons of water!

    Im sorta in your boat all I want though is 10 more lbs myself. But I think I may start a supplements regimen. www.bodybuilding.com has been a great resource to me. I would read a little bit more (not just on that site) about building more muscle which you know will help you burn more fat.

    I was dieting and not really getting the results I wanted, so my trainer suggested a 2-day juice diet to get me started.

    It's nice because you will see results after two days to get you motivated, but when you're done you'll be so grateful to eat diet food. I started the juice diet 4 days ago. I've been eating egg whites, chicken breast, fruit, vegetables and protein drinks for two days. My stomach looks flat and my whole body appears leaner.....in 4 days!

    I've been using egg beaters (close enough, imo)

    1 cup in a frying pan with Pam and some blueberries in there

    Losing 30 pounds in one month is, most likely, not going to happen.

    However, upping your water intake (if you are not drinking enough water, you may be a little "bloated") and paring down your bad food intake...then you should be able to drop "bloat" pounds.

    You should also NOT just do cardio. Cardio is just that...cardio. If you want to lose weight more quickly and effectively, then you need to add in weight training. More LMM means that your body will burn all excessive fat more easily.

    ** Eat 5 small meals per day.
    ** Limit your caloric intake to 1500-1800 per day
    ** Only one type of complex carb per meal (veggies and fruits don't count as complex carbs)
    ** Eat protein at least 4 out of the 5 meals
    ** burn 500-700 calories daily w/ cardio exercise
    ** do resistance training 3-5x weekly.

    Losing 30 pounds in a months is quite impossible. You may be able to do it in two.

    Hmm, that sounds yummy. I have been looking for a more ideas to jazz up my egg whites. So I have been either making egg white omelets with lowfat cottage cheese and boiling eggs and using the whites only for a filling egg salad.

    ok there is a presciption pill called pheterine (i think i spelled it right) it helped a friend of mine lose 20lbs in a month and they also gave her injections in her stomach to help break up the fat .... go on google and read about it.

    Losing 30 lbs in one month is way too much,your body won't be able to cope with such a big weight difference.Healthy weightloss that will also last is 5-7 lbs a month.You don't want to send your body in a shock,do it slower.Atkins diet is good to try for a quicker weightloss,but you should not do it for long periods of time.

    ive heard awesome things about phentermine... it was the phen part of of fen phen... but its not bad for you, it was the combo of the two that was very dangerous... good luck, again!

    Do Atkins along with Tae-BO. It might not be 30 pounds in actual weight, but it will look like you've lost 30 pounds.

    Wow Caligirly you did lose alot of wieght. From your last picture to know you can totally tell eventhough its of your face. Hair looks cute too.

    I'm trying a new weight loss supp. for women called Fahrenheit. I will let you know how it turns out. I don't really need to lose weight but I am using it for help with my workouts for energy, etc. Good luck!

    i wouldnt buy phentermine online... although i did say its not as bad for you, its just the same as every diet pill, and it CAN be unsafe if you have an exisiting condition that you may not know about. its a prescription for a reason, and I would check with the doctor first, definitely.

    You look great now but if you do want to lose weight just work do cardio as much as possible and drink a ton of water that will help you be less hungry.

    If you've hit a plateau where you are not losing any more weight, then you need to "kick start" your body.

    Go on a juice diet for 2-3 days...after that, eat mostly fruits and veggies with some protein (lean protein like fish and chicken). It'll really help your body get rid of those extra pounds. Usually, when you plateau like that, it's a sign that your body is "used" to your workouts and your eating needs to be tightened up a bit more.

    A healthy lean diet and plenty of nice and EASY cardio will take those pounds off. You should really look into rowing as a cardiovascular exercise that works your entire body. It burns the most calories, is non-impact, and (if you are able to go out on the water and not on a machine) it's very relaxing.

    The key with cardio is to not go at it too hard. Rowing/running hard & fast burns off glycogen form your muscles and rowing/running easily where you are barely breaking a sweat and can maintain a conversation (50-70% of max heartrate) burns fat calories. I hope this isn't too confusing.

    thank you all sooo very much!!! i have been fasting for a fews and hitting the gym almost all week and dancing on top of that i think i just needed to get past my platue like venus mention and thank you tiger milk for the sweet commentliment believe that really made my day when i read that! you are all sooo very sweet and sooo helpful that is why i love you my babies lol!

    how horrible those juice diets are -- juice? are you kidding me....what's the benefits of starving your body from food then stuffing sugar from those juices within it.
    You should concentrate on losing body fat and not weight --that is where you should see the difference.
    losing 30 pounds in one month is not good for you body...because your body could have a rebound affect like when people starve themselves -- if you eat something then you'll automatically put those pounds back on and you'll probably lose more muscle then fat if you try to put your body through that.

    Hun just go with a sensible diet -- no junkfood , alot of water -- excercise 4-5 times a week...do weight training which would be excellent...break down your weight training with 1st day of legs 2nd arms 3rd chest etc..and 30 minutes of cardio after them -------.there is no secret formular,
