Default Sometimes, you're better off going to a "Mom & Pop" business.

I accidentally broke an earpiece off my prescrips two days ago. So I went to a large corporation and/or franchise (not sure which) where I thought they would fix 'em. No luck, they told me they couldn't fix it because of how it was broken off.

After a little searching, I found a small "Mom & Pop" jewelry repair shop. They had the "undoable" repair finished sixty minutes later.

While I will not name the large business, I will say I will now always look upon them as being incompetent at their craft!

Mom and Pops are always better for the service - especially if you use them over and over. Corps are faceless to their customers as well as their employees.

If it is not in the book as a service, they will not do it - even if they have some ideas on how to do it.
