I have made a decision to go back into dancing, I know to some this means coming out of retirement. I am still only 22 so it was a short 2 yr retirement....
School expenses have gone up and this working in the world of $11 an hour before taxes has made me long for the nights that I made what is now equal to my weeks pay.
One of the things that i think put me into early retirement was the fact that I let myself go as a dancer, I weighed close to 200lbs when I quit. Now keep in mind that I am 5'8 and carried it quite well. I took the next 2 yrs to continue to go to school and told myself that i would not stroll around the brass pole again till I got my weight and other personal issues under control.... fast forward.
I am now weighing in at 148 and am thinking its getting close to time to go back to dancing. I know we have all had our bad nights but dancing allowed me to do something I don't do in my everyday life.... and that is to let go. I am a very serious person and when I put on my heels and g-string then I suddenly become anyone I want to be and as everyone knows this is a wonderful thing in its own way.
I'm going in the morning to buy heels, and then in 2 weeks I'm going to go up to babydoll's dallas and see if they will give me a chance... I hope as I keep everyone updated you keep your fingers crossed for me! Anyone that has worked at BBD, I'd really appericate ANY advice!! Thanks.... 17 days until lift-off.![]()
