    Default stripping in asia?

Hello. just joined. I'm no dancer, but I'm rather interested.

I am wondering about stripping oportunities in asia, particularily Japan. I recently spent a year in Thailand and I know how attracted they are to white girls in that country.
Has anyone had any experience stripping in that part of the world? If so what are the clubs, money, and opportunities like?
Also- do the blacklights used in clubs cause skin damage? do they give you a tan?
On more question. How friendly are strippers expected to be? is a lot of peppyness required? I'm not an angry or bitchy person, but i sometimes come off as cold.
Thanks for your answers. have good days.

Well...I will try to answer some of your questions. I have dance in Japan 3 times. I have found that personality of the dancer is important. If you come off as cold this could hurt your earnings and also distance you from the other dancers.

Dancing in blacklight is not a full spectrum of light given that no you will not burn. There have been some questions to the safety of these light due to the frequency of the wave length of the light (but thats side info) Search on the web about blacklight if you are concerned about negative affects.

Dancing in Japan has taken a turn for the worst...you should look at the threds from other dancers on here. I will let you know that you can not just go to Japan anymore and dance you need to apply for an entertainers visa. You can not get one without having experience or dancing background that you can prove. You should contact the Japanese Consultat for more details on this. There is a whole host of things that you need obtain for this visa.

Also, Japan is not what it used to be for making money. Ths Japanese ecconomy has really taken a dive. Also clubs are no longer about stage shows they are mostly lap dancing clubs now with very high contact. If you have never danced before this could be very hard to handle.

All in all I had a great time in Japan not sure if I would ever return to dance but its a great place to visit!

    Hope this helps

    japan is fun,thats for sure!

but no, definatly dont plan on going there until the immigration stuff is sorted out there a bit better. the clubs are still getting raided on a monthly basis.

    the money is ok.

but as you are totally new to dancing, id say give japan a miss even if it was the biggest money making country- as an inexperianced dancer there would get shoved in the crappier club anyways, and youd probably have a hard time being happy in an unfamiliar job,let alone the disturbance of a foregin country.

japan is very different to thailand!!

the two cultures are very different-although i found that as i was already compleatly comfortable with the thai culture, before going to japan to dance, japan was alot easier on me then some of the girls.

what city in aus are you in-assuming skippy is cos your an aussie too

try dancing in your own city first, so you know you can deal with the job, then expand if your definatly sure you can do it. imagine flying halfway round the world, then crumbling cos the dancers are bitches or something, and having to come home with less money then you left with!!!

have a look at janet will probably help you out,in finding a nice safe club to get your bearings with doing international dancing

Thanks for all the help. No, I'm not from Aus. I'm a Canadian girl, living on Vancouver island. I'm hoping to move down to Victoria in a few months and try out dancing there. I'll check out thebestdancers, thanks again for the tips.
